Eagles’ lineman Andrews done for season

PHILADELPHIA (AP)—Shawn Andrews(notes) won’t play with his brother and college roommate this year.

The Philadelphia Eagles placed Andrews on injured reserve Tuesday, ending the two-time Pro Bowl lineman’s season. Andrews missed the entire preseason and season opener with a back injury. He briefly returned to practice, but his surgically repaired back flared up again.

I think I heard it was a knee sprain. No surgery required, but it'll sideline him up to 6 weeks

Paul Posluszny is out again with another broken arm. Surgery is required, but they're optimistic for his return. Too bad for this dude. I really liked him at PSU.
