We now have a Bear on the roster.........for now.

: After trying out fullbacks to replace the injured Boomer Grigsby on Monday, the Texans signed Jonathan Evans, who played at Baylor. Evans was on the practice field Tuesday. Coach Gary Kubiak said even though Evans had been signed, tight end James Casey will still get reps at fullback.

Apparently it's a severe upper ankle sprain that'll keep him out about 4-5 weeks.

Texans notes: With fullback Boomer Grigsby expected to be out for at least four to five weeks, the team signed fullback Jonathan Evans to provide additional depth.

Today's Chronicle said Kubes thought Casey did well @ Fb but wants him to learn TE. I am not surprised by this signing

Ha, you're probably right. When he's cut he'll go all Justice on us and write an article how badly Smith treats players or something.

I bet Mclain jizzed his pants.Actually, John has began a screenplay on this remarkable and historical event. John will of course play the lead role as the indomitable Fb who leads the Texans to their first ever Super Bowl.
