Id love for that to happen. He's more situated to that kind of running than Steve. But lets see if his health keeps up...

That's the whole idea, someone to take some carries from Slaton and help him with the load so that Slaton is healthier and fresher legs later in the season. Keep your fingers crossed though because Brown is a hangnail away from the PUP list.

A Chris Brown injury is practically a guarantee. I was beginning to have high hopes for Foster stepping up, but he seems to want to follow in Brown's footsteps.

I'd like to see Kubiak limit Slaton and Brown to a couple series then let Moats and Foster take it the rest of the way. I'd have Foster contribute 2 quarters at least. He needs to prove he can do the job without pulling a Brown.

Any guy that beats up women is a coward....

What?

Wrong Chris Brown??

:worm:

*****************

Give Vonta more carries!!!! He's big, he's mean, he's nasty and he took Julius Peppers' manhood from him. He could pound it for short yardage.

Yeah, I'd like to see muh boy get more carries too, but when it counts. Preseason is a very hard test on a fan's nerves when it comes to injuries.

Give it to the rook and make him prove he belongs on the roster.

But that's fine. Chris Brown being healthy and effective for 10-13 games is what we signed him to do a year ago. RBs get injured. If he runs like he did Saturday but misses a couple games in October and then another game or two in December, that's fine. Slaton can have a few games where he gets 25 touches. It just can't happen every week.

Brown looked very impressive last week. Looks like the guy Kubiak thought he was getting a couple of years back. And while I am impressed with his one preseason game thus far, until it counts for something and he can prove he can stay on the field when it counts I reserve the right to be pessimistic.

Hey, I'd be giddy if he were to last that long. I'm just not going to set myself up for the disappointment.

I still say we give Foster the bulk of the reps during the preseason so he can prove his worth. If he does, there will be less to worry about when Brown goes down.

I can't believe anyone would waste even a moments time getting excited about Brown. The guy hasn't been worth a damn in like 3 years. He is an injury waiting to happen for sure. So he had a decent pre season game? So what. It's pre season, and he's healthy for now, but that won't last. I'm trying to figure out what he's even doing on this team.

I thought the guy talking about Brown being a detriment to Slaton was a nut, but reading again, this guy is a fantasy league dude, so I guess Slaton getting less carries or TDs within red zone could be detrimental in that sense.

Ha ha!! Yeah, he ought to join those two guys on their recliners where they watch most of the Houston games from home or the sidelines.
