"This is how I feel -- if you want to see the Pittsburgh Steelers, invite us when we don't win the Super Bowl. As far as I'm concerned, he [Obama] would've invited Arizona if they had won," said Harrison.

Harrison also skipped the Steelers' visit to the White House in 2006 following their victory in Super Bowl XL.

Of course he would have invited Arizona...thats the point of the invitation. He isn't doing it because he's a big fan. Harrison looks like of stupid here.

Sometimes it's best to keep your hole closed.

This time Harrison should have kept his mouth closed.

I believe Harrison was genuinely trying to sound smart but strong in his beliefs.

Boy, did that backfire on him there?

Soooo.. I wonder if he is going to accept the Super Bowl Ring. I mean they are only going to give him that ring because his team won the Super Bowl.

Fair point. I'll take the spare ring!

He should have just thought before, and gone for the media savvy answer of 'spending time with the family instead'.

Maybe he won't accept his pay check either...since they're only paying him for playing.

I don't get why he's complaining at all.

What gives him the right to speak for the Pittsburgh Steelers? What he should have said was if you want to see me, invite me when I'm not on a winning Super Bowl team. Is far as I'm concerned, he [Obama} would've invited Kurt Warner if he had won. Still he would have been right, but at least he would have been speaking on behalf of himself only unless the entire team declined the invitation. Wow, simply wow, the mind is precious!

I never did think he was the brightest bulb. I'd love to have him on our team though.

And they would have given those rings to Arizona had they won, so......

If I were Obama I'd wait 'til about the day before the 1st game and invite the Steelers and specifically Harrison to the white house again. "Hey you aren't doing anything important, right?"

What a dolt.
