This somewhat undersized OLB was released. His injury in 2006 seems to be history as he started all 16 games last year with admirable performance. He is a veteran (yet still relatively young at 27) which the Texans could use in their mix.........and he is known for his speed. Not mentioned in this article, and, in my opinion, of primary reason for release was his $3 million salary.
This would be someone definitely worth bringing in for a look.

St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Rams have released linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa, the team's leading tackler last season.

Tinoisamoa made 135 tackles, including 88 solo, last season. He also notched three sacks.

"This was a difficult decision based on a lot of factors," said first-year Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo. "I have a great deal of respect for Pisa and wish him all of the best."

The Rams selected Tinoisamoa in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft. In his first season, he became the first Rams rookie to lead the team in tackles when he made 121 stops.

After playing every game in his first three NFL seasons and leading the club in tackles each year, Tinoisamoa missed five games because of injury in 2006 and missed seven games in 2007.

The six-year veteran from Hawaii has 661 tackles, including 418 solo, with 10 sacks and seven interceptions in his career.

He is a WILL. It would've been nice to bring him in had he been released before we signed June, but since we already signed June I dont think they'll add another guy in for competition in TC. That would be too much money tied up into the position and would take away valuable reps from Adibi.
