When the Texans traded Sage to the Vikes, he was promised an open competition for starting QB for the third time.

Tonight with the talks of Brad Childress meeting with Brett Favre, what are the odds or old friend Sage gets to start?

NFL/Sirius radio had a good point, Brett gets surgery now, rehab, comes back on game 9.

Funny they didn't mention Sage at all.

Kinda feel bad for the guy!

Its unfortunate for Sage but at the end of the day if he's a starting caliber QB he should've taken control of the starting job at one of the teams he's been at by now.

Its not like he's been in a situation where he's been a backup behind Peyton Manning or Tom Brady his whole career.

Sage doesn't have a lot to worry about. He's a better QB than Favre.

Sage and Commander Cody have alot in common. They look great off the bench but once the defense starts to gameplan for you, all your warts are exposed. He's a top back up but he's always gonna be a guy a team is looking to replace. Nothing wrong with that though...he's gonna make tons of money and get out of the league with all his fingers pointing in the proper direction most likely.

QFT. I think people get a bit myopic with Sage and forget about the times he had legit shots in Washington and Miami.
