we are moving up in the afc south by the way. it wont be long before we are the dominating teams as Cap casualities is about to wreak havok on the colts and titans.

Well the Pats/Colts game reminded us of one important fact. A really good defense beats a really good offense in the playoffs.

The Texans and Jags emphasize defense which is a good thing.

Many people like the excitement of a "Payton Manning" style offense, but it hasn't worked in the playoffs.

The only thing good about Jacksonville is that you are about an hour away from Gainesville. A place where a real football team exists. Gators put the Jags to shame. Not only with their play, but, their uniforms look alot better. Gator fans fill the stadium for every game. :neener:

I heard in Jacksonville the superbowl preperations have been somewhat pathetic. I wonder if they will even have paved parking lots or will it be the typical boondocks gravel road jacksonville. Oh Yea isnt yalls stadium like the size of our stadiums handicap bathroom? Plus what team can go on a 6-2 start and then not even make the playoffs? Dont ever come on here talking about our quarterback or any of our players or fans again. Take your bored little self back to the jacksonville message board. The jags cant beat us, they are all mouth and no talent.

The Titans.. eh.. they could be a surprise team next season. Volek looked pretty good.. it all depends on how they do in FA and the Draft this year.

Colts are still a powerhouse.. though if they lose edge, it may cause a little speed bump for em. I have a feeling we are gonna be battling the colts for the #1 spot in the AFC south for another half decade or so.

Like Vinny explained to you, the Chiefs. The Texans are known as the residents of the State of Texas. They are a proud state and brand their pride on everything. It is a fitting name for the largest city in Texas to bestow upon their football team. we are moving up in the afc south by the way. it wont be long before we are the dominating teams as Cap casualities is about to wreak havok on the colts and titans.
Dude, shut it!! Your acting like a damn *****! Just coming over and starting somethin', Making us look stupid you don't just start something because your board, do whatever you want, I can't stop you but your just being a poor sport! True fans don't just start something. But I'm different anyway because I don't trash talk, but you go ahead and run your mouth like 6 month old cheese I don't care! You don't trash talk to a team that beat you twice in the regular season! That's just about as pointless as George Bush making a dictionary! We are gonna have to play are *** of next year if we want to even split the series! The Texans arn't pushovers!! They have proven that! And if you keep treating them like that there gonna want to shut you up!!! They are a tough team and I think in the next couple of seasons it'll be the Texans & Jaguars battling for the top spot in the South! SO what if they poke fun at Byron Leftwich or our fans all you can do is show up and then they can't say anything bad about you because you were there, that's what opposing fans will do especially division rival fans they'll find ways to eek under your skin, you just have to learn and deal with it like I have it'll always be there it isn't gonna change! But just stop acting like a damn *****!!! The Texans are a tough team how else would they have beaten us twice this year it wasn't luck they outplayed us run your mouth after a win not after two losses it's common sense! Which in this case I don't think you have any!! As a fan you have to realize as long as there is another team playing yours on that field, there is a chance you can win OR lose!!! I'm out!!!!

Did you get tired of trying to justify how Pay-me-a-ton cant seem to get his stuff together against a depleted Pats secondary?? Lets see, Gary Walker has made a Pro-Bowl with us, look at the 2003 record to see how much of a force Seth Payne is on the D-line, Boselli was a gamble after the Jags staff ruined his career, and Weigert has been a solid run blocker. The Jags have some studs at DT so I can see how Payne wasnt needed but do you remember who they replaced Walker with? Oh ya that Hugh Douglas guy that was cut also. NEXT!

True, the Colts have an amazing offense, one of the best ever. The Texans held them without a touchdown for an entire half. Thats something only the Pats can claim also, so with this YOUNG team we have I would declare that a small victory in its own. The Colts WILL NOT sweep the Texans next year. ColtX is right. He's got scoreboard this season. His team has a lot of work to do, though. Can they re-sign James? If not, what will that mean for the play action? I don't think that anyone's going to be all that worried about James Mungro or the bad Ricky Williams. If all his offense can do is pass, I don't know how well the Colts will do.

How about this for facts. Your team is snakebitten and mortaly flawed. On one hand you have this great offense. On the other, a defense that can't stop nobody, especialy balanced playoff teams. The reason for this is because your qb is one of the highest paid players in the game and with every year that goes by his cap hits get larger and LARGER and LARGER preventing the kind of cap flexibility that its going to take to fill holes. Does your team ever learn from this, NO they keep on spending their cap on the offensive side of the ball, making them completly lopsided and unballanced. Teams like yours come and go. They put up glorious numbers during the regular season then go into the playoffs with all the praise of setting records, but once they're there they have to play against solid defenses, get knocked straight in the mouth and sent home wondering what the hell just happened. Plus it really doesn't help that your a dome team (look at the stats its unbeleivable 0-9). That means you're probally going to have to have homefield avantage and with playing in arguably the toughest division in football isn't going to happen anytime soon. You're probally getting tired of hearing this and if I was a colts fan I would to, but defense wins championships and frankly your team simply cannot afford one! The Texans however are building balance, last year I believe our defense and offense was ranked 30 or 31, bad I'll admit. Now after this year the offense and defense was ranked evenly again in the upper-middle range-(not sure the exact number, I'm sure someone will help me out). Next year our team will see more improvement on both sides of the ball. Can you tell me one thing all the teams in the conference playoffs had, Balance, and 3 out of 4 of them ran the 3-4 defense, kinda scary huh. The same defense we run. Your team runs the cover 2, which is built more to defend the pass the problem is when you get into the playoffs you face teams that just ram the ball straight down yalls throats, hence the divisional rounds when Corey Dillion ran straight threw yall and ate up the clock. Your team is like a house of cards, they're built up so high, then come crashing down. Now thats just the facts

Peyton Manning, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Colts flag in the window. "This house is yours for eternity, Peyton," said God.
"This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here."

Peyton felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a blue and red sidewalk, a 50 foot tall flagpole with an enormous Texans logo flag, and in every window, a Battle Red towel.

Peyton looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even went to the Hall of Fame."

God said "So what's your point Peyton?"

"Well, why does David Carr get a better house than me?"

God chuckled, and said "Peyton, that's not David's house, it's mine."

I felt sorry for Moon he deserved to get to a super bowl, and I was sure he was going to get there, but as we've already discussed the Oilers of then didn't have the D. to get them there like air Coryell's Chargers, and now the Colts'.

yeah yall are right the colts will never win a SB with the way their team is set up now. A high powered offense and a very bad defense, except freeny he's a good player !

That's funny, now Jag fans are siding with Texan fans to bust on the Colts.
I guess looking up at the Colts is tough and you have to stick together.

Again no one can dispute the facts that I have stated.
Colts scoreboard, and it will stay that way until next year.
Yeah Manning choked but he and the Colts still played TWO more than the Texans and the Jags. Deal with it.

FILO Girl said I was "hatin on us" . No, I have been polite and have not attacked anyone (or called them a troll).
I did tell some of you to get over yourself because not only were you bashing other teams (which is fine) but you attacked other cities, their fans' intellingence and their discussion boards.
Get a grip.
Don't worry I won't be back here ever.

I actually thought the Colts would beat the Pats and advance to the SB this year. I think it's imperative when you are a Dome team that you secure the home field advantage. I suppose in retrospect I underestimated the Patriots because I don't care for them much but to me if the Colts had played at home it might have been different. They just can't seem to get over the NE hump.

Last time I checked, you chose to participate in this silly thread. We have plenty of fans from other teams that post here frequently, but then again, most of them don't get into silly smack threads. It's your choice to come back or not, but if you post in silly smack threads....try to remember that all you get out of that kind of participation is silly smack back. If you look hard enough, our board is full of decent discussion.

This sounds more like one of my kids tattling. :listening
Listen little man, if you come busting in on a thread between us and the Jags and think you are going to look good, think again. We both do not care about your #1 spot and we both are aiming to dethrone your Colts. :shocked You come in sounding high and mighty, and you will be set right back on your *** because this is a TEXANS board. You are a visitor and act as such. You were not polite, you were condescending. And in the words of Ron White...THAT IS WRONG. NO one asked for a horse shoe's opinion anyway.
Probably for the best you are gone (if that indeed is truly the case). Someone's emotions can't take our "harsh" board. :baby:

I'ts true that the colts played 2 more games than the Texans or Jags,But the Texans and Jags also beat a Team that the Colts lost big to.You remember the Chiefs don't you?We really are all going in the same direction and not that far apart when you look at teams beat and teams lost to.Just thought I would throw a kink in the chain.

I beleve the Jags are vegetarian based solely on how they played. The Texans did develop quite taste for Jaguar this year, didn't they?

'cmon Texans, have some sympathy for this Teal guy!! Think about it...
SuperBowl is in his town next week and he's passing out grief on our
board!!?? Talk about a board life!!!...unless some of you spent your time
on the Jag's board last year (SuperBowl Week), which I doubt!!!...just ignore him, thus giving him the respect he deserves...let him take the low road,
maybe Jag fans don't want him either.... :coolb:

You must have seen that blurb I had on your board. No, me and the one that I posted just share the same name. I am a little old to be in a rah-rah suit (except for my husband, and that is only on the 3rd Saturday of the month). I played the sports, didn't cheer for them.

I don't think that Jags like Angus. They find it a little tough. :woot We need to rename the AFC South the Italian division. Everyone is feasting on meatballs. "I'd like the Bud Adams spaghetti with Titans please". :heh:

I hear that J-ville has built a new skyscraper for the SB, that is great. I even found a pic so everyone can marvel at Northern Florida archatecture! Watch that first step, it can be a doozy!! :howdy:

This coming from the tinhorn troll who spends a considerable amount of time at www.jaguars.com/mb. I came here looking for some decent smack but after reading this thread it's obvious that there is nothing but lameness here. Think I'll quit wasting my time and go back home. Bye.
