It's always fun to laugh at the Cowboys, or in this case a former Cowboy.

MISSION, Texas -- Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Quincy Carter was charged Friday with drunken driving and marijuana possession.

Carter's blood-alcohol level tested at 0.14, said Texas Department of Public Safety trooper Johnny Hernandez. The state's legal limit is 0.08.

He was charged with misdemeanor possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana after the drug was found in his car, Hernandez said. Carter was pulled over in the Mission area for failing to signal a turn, and had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech, police said.

Quincy Carter in AF2 (http://doradosfootball.com/headlines/?p=127])

He plays for your Rio Grande Valley Dorados in the Arena League 2.

Now there's a tragic career path.

From four years with the Dallas Cowboys, to one year with the New York Jets to a couple of years out of football before landing (on your feet?) in the AFL2 Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings. Then to cap it all off you wrap up your career as the big name assignee to the Rio Grande Valley Dorados?

Something tells me if you start your career as a Dallas Cowboy and end it as a Rio Grande Vally Dorito then things haven't gone well.

Talking bout going from the penthouse to the outhouse. You have to not be the sharpest pencil in the box to go from starting qb of the Dallas Cowboys to hanging on in Arena League 2. That Jerry Jones sure knows a football player when he sees one.

What are the odds that this would have happened WHILE he was playing for the Cowgirls?
