Haynesworth to test FA (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3916393).

See ya later buddy, I hope he gets the hell out of the AFCS and never comes back. I'm sure that Bud is not going to be very willing to match what the Al Davises and Dan Snyders are going to want to throw at Fat Albert.

Last memory I have of that guy is him laying on the ground in the 4th because poor baby got a booboo.

There is NO way we will get Haynesworth. Unless we drop some serious cash.

My money's on Denver. I don't think it matters if they're switching to a 3-4.

What if he goes to the colts? They just got some money by releasing Harrison. Fat Albert in a colt uni would be scary.

I know talent wise he would help out team but I wouldnt want him in a Texans uni.

I think they'd need to do a heck of a lot more finagling than just cutting Harrison to make enough room... they still have to sign their FAs and rookie class, etc.

But it's definitely a need position for them.... still, I don't think the Colts can make it work without having to sacrifice too much.

But, to your point - hell yeah it would be scary.

I feel like with vick, and hayensworth(among others) out there the raiders could be looking at seriously contending next year with a couple of pick ups....

I'd like to see the Texans throw an offer in there to up his asking price. Fat Albert would probably not take it but it would almost certainly increase his asking price from Bottomline Bud.

He is a BEAST for sure, but I don't think that he is worth his asking price.

Yesterday I read that Snyder was the only NFL owner willing to consider Haynesworth's ridiculous price

I hope Mr. Haynesworth enjoys his stay in the NFC and doesn't forget to write (assuming he learns how to).

Fat albert to be a Redskin!

http://blogs.chron.com/nfl/2009/02/chat_about_rosenfels_the_combi.html

John McClain: Lance Zierlein just put a national scoop on his blog. He says Albert Haynesworth will be a Redskin with a contract of more than $100 million that averages $15 million to $16 million. Way to go, Lance! The other AFC South teams will feel great about that.

http://blogs.chron.com/fantasyfootball/2009/02/albert_haynesworth_will_be_a_w_1.html

I got it from a very well-connected league source. That source is talking (actually texting) again.

This time around he tells me that the Washington Redskins will break the bank to sign Albert Haynesworth. The Titans could come over the top of the Redskins deal as well, but my guess is that the Redskins will let Haynesworth get the best offer possible from the Titans and then "better deal" it.

My source tells me to look for a contract that could break $100 million with an average of $15 million to $16 million per. My guy is almost never wrong and Dan Snyder gets what he wants.

If he stays in the AFC South - Texans better be the ones to get him.

Anywhere else = Less nightmares for Schaub. (and I'm good with that)

Maybe he wants to be able to play against Andre Gurode twice a year.

Just read that myself.

Al - I don't where you go, but you can't stay here (AFC South)!

Yea I bet Andre would like that...

If I remember right he stomped on him right after they made a TD right up the middle...

Snyder has the money. He'll get it done.

This barely matters if we can't keep our own guys.

Not that it has anything to do with this thread, but there's about 5 1/2 months until camp to get deals done.

Plus, I'm not sure who we've lost anyway.

I understand, but he ain't going anywhere this season so what's the use in getting all twisted about it? There's plenty of time to get deals done.

If Fat Albert gets his 100 million dollar contract it should kill all talk of Peppers to the Texans. As he will probably want to be paid more then Al, and I'm not convinced either is worth that kind of money.
