The most boring of the playoff matchups, IMO. I'll still be watching though. I'm rooting for the Cardinals just because of their abysmal history, but I think the Falcons win.

I agree with your statement, but it's not really saying much. I think this is shaping up for the best playoffs in a while.

I agree, but I love the NFL playoffs. Let the games begin.

Well, I've seen the Cards a couple games this year. Their defense is worse than the Texans. Maybe they will show up to day but they are pretty bad.

He did make it look good....

It was a badass catch...

IMO though, thats a catch that anyone being paid to make has no excuse not to catch.......

Cards are good at home, Falcons aren't that great on the road, rookie QB, etc...not a tough pick for me.

Oh well, I'm rooting for the Cardinals, I always liked Kurt Warner.

Prediction, 28-27 Cardinals win.

Falcons up now. Ryan is not looking nervous anymore.

Matt Ryan is going to be one helluva quarterback. The Cardinals offense needs to wakeup.

And is it just me or does Mike Smith (Falcons HC) kinda look like John McCain?

Classic upstart team at home feeling all excited. Then they get a lead, then the game takes over and the fight is on. Edge: Atlanta.

Whoa. Matt Millen hired as an expert by NBC. Too funny.

What is it about fired GMs that make them so attractive to the broadcast booth? Casserly, and now Matt Millen.

Millen talked his way into becoming the Lions GM by convincing the owners he was smart. Now he's trying to do the same thing to the public. Isn't working.

I would think Millen would be OK at the desk telling people what they already know. I believe most on this board could go in and do the same job barring stage fright.

I just can't believe NBC would hire the 0-16 poster boy for the job.

Hey, can a guy dream?

I love the guy also. I was a Rams fan for 20 years before I became a Texans fan. Those years in the late 90's and early 2000's is a time that I will never forget. He was my second all time Rams favorite after Dickerson.

I had a nightmare recently that involved Eli and Collins getting hurt and David Carr and Vince Young both starting in the Super Bowl. I think it ended with a 0-0 tie after 2 overtimes.

but if that happens i think the giants would win b/c of their defense. all vy does is throw the ball away, and this is coming from a texas fan.

Does she go to games? I went to see the texans in a preseason game in 2007. There is absolutely nothing there. The stadium is absolutely in the middle of the desert. I guess since it's a new stadium, they haven't really build around it. We wanted to eat something outside the stadium and found nothing. There are just a couple of apartment complexes and that's it. The game was in the middle of August and it was 112 degrees when we were entering the stadium. Way too hot to tailgate but there were some diehards Tailgating. I got to see Jacoby run back two kickoffs for Td's though and a Texans Win.

"must spread rep"......quite possibly the funniest and scariest thing, at the same time nonetheless, I have ever read on these boards.

The Cards will have to travel across the country and will get destroyed no matter who they play. Outside of that, it was a great win for a franchise who has been short on big wins for most of their history.

THey have season tickets, and they tailgate. I'm happy for her, and all Cards fans. They've all had their fair share of having to sit at home during the playoffs, so regardless of how far they go this year, it's a breath of fresh air to see them have some success.

BTW: Kurt Warner is HOT!!!!!!!!:heat: That dude has Brady beat by a Texas country mile when it comes to good looks. Worth watching the Cards play just to have the chance to oogle Kurt!:)

Congrats to the Cards. I was a casual supporter since my aunt and many of her inlaws live in Arizona. HOWEVER, I am more a Warner suppporter than a true Cards fan. I support his commitment to his spiritual beliefs, family values, his perseverance, and YEESSS, that guy is truly eye candy.
