Delusional more then honest.

I have a degree in economics and chemistry, don't have relatives to sleep with, was married and have a beautiful intelligent daughter, stand my ground and do not back down. And have a job that pays well.

How exactly are you being 'honest'? Can you say that Bill?

We just callz 'em like we seez 'em. :cowboy1:

Again you should actually read the thead. I have run the table on smack.

You still have not clarified what you were talking about. I implied that we would sweep you again next season and you said I could not count. How does that make sense?

Your response was that it is two loses, you did not specify what year you were referring to. Bill polietly informed you that you only one game last year. I said you can't count ... After 1 comes 2, that is how counting works. Re clarifying what you meant versus what you said iis something different altogether.

So lets review this table of smack you are running. You blamed officials (that is running the table on smack?). You said they could have won the game if they wanted to (Is this table in wonderland?). Calling a game that has implications on home field advantage through out the playoffs meaningless is just flat out ignorant (Is this the kiddy table of smack your running?).

Great smack there BA, I am sure it works on a 7 year girl who has never watched sports before.

No agian you did not read what was said. I will recap for you to make it easier ... I hope. I said

Now that Haynsworth is gone what excuse will you use when the Texans don't makethe playoffs again this season and finish 8-8?

Bill's response:

If the Texans don't make the playoffs, it will have nothing to do with that asshat or the Tinnbreds.

Which I replied with:

Two losses always hurt.

See this is speaking in the future.

So lets review this table of smack you are running. You blamed officials (that is running the table on smack?).

No actually I just asked for a properly officiated game. I did not say we would have won and if you look back I accept the loss for what it is. It happens to all teams I was just asking for a fair shot. Who knows maybe Bert still picks up that 3rd and 8. I would have just like to see it as it should have been. Get it?

You said they could have won the game if they wanted to (Is this table in wonderland?).

The game was not important to us. Win or lose it has no bearing on home field.

Calling a game that has implications on home field advantage through out the playoffs meaningless is just flat out ignorant (Is this the kiddy table of smack your running?).

No the Pit game decided the home field and we won it soundly. Regardless of the outcome of that game if Pit had beaten us people would have looked at us as a team that could not win the important ones. Yes I know what happened in Baltimore but if Matt "handle with care" had faced that game he would not have lasted a quarter.

Great smack there BA, I am sure it works on a 7 year girl who has never watched sports before.

Maybe you should grow some thicker skin before stepping into the ring. When I point out an obvious issue in your ability to communicate your thoughts in a single sentence you get all butt hurt.

Not taking the bait on this one....fans of opposing teams tend to have the thinnest skins. Talk all sorts of smack and when it is returned run to the mods and complain. Getting in to pissing match about who's intellect is superior is useless as is personal insults..

However, that being said fanhood and team affiliation is. (Also region, screennames etc.) Most of the insults I have seen (or said) have been directed at your fanhood SN and general poor takes regarding your team and mine. I cant speak for the rest of the posters but I am pretty sure they arent attacking you personally. If they are then that sucks because there is so much more that can be made fun of about the Titans than make personal attacks about a Tac fan from California's Redneck Rivera.

Thick skins? I have one it is burnt Battle Red....bring it on Powder Blue Powder puff Arrow...you Bipolar and bullock are from this point on renamed the Powderpuff Girls.

You can admit it, you have room full of moneys banging on a typewriter and just put up what ever they say.

I think both backs are good. I like Johnson and think he has some solid break out speed but Slaton is good as well. I think Slaton might have a slight edge because of his attitude. Johnson has been pretty close to giving up the ball a few times because he was more interested in celebrating then actually crossing the plain.

Titan fan usually argues through both sides of their tobacco stained mouth. On one side they say they are not the cursed franchise that was in Houston and the other side they brag about the storied history of their organization.

It figures from a fanbase who feel Larry the cable guy is the voice of their generation.

We have no sense of belonging to a team because we support the one that moved into our home state 10 years ago? If thats the case then you guys are in the same boat.

Believe it or not, there are a lot of Titans fans that followed the Oilers from Houston. Some became fans when they came to Nashville in '98 (myself included) but there is no "unified" opinion on the matter.

Easy there Scottie. Just because I like Scotch Whiskey doesn't mean I'm going to agree with this rubbage. Bagpipes were exclusively Scottish? Please!!! Learn history. Bagpipes weren't exclusive to the Irish or the Scots.

just a rant on the Irish after 100th person tried to pinch me and ask me why I wasnt weraing green. Scots should man up and make everyone wear plaid and drink Scotch. Don't judge the entire fan base over what some of them say. I go by what I remember. I have no memory of the '92 fiasco seeing as how I was four years old and wasn't a figment of my parents' imagination when Earl played. I would assume there are more fans who wouldn't consider those memories theirs than would (of the people who weren't actually Oilers fans) I fail to see why it is such a big deal for you.

And no, that wasn't a "burn."

It's not a big deal, and I didn't take anything as a burn. You discuss things rationally and I think you've said that you don't go on "gotitans.com".

Those (gotitans people) are the people that I refer to when I mention "convenience sake". From my experience, Titans fans are idiots as a whole. I'm not trying to throw my brethren under the bus but listen to a call-in show once in a while and you'll understand. They know football up and down, but they can't grasp how the NFL is different than college. I know every fan base has those fans but its embarrassing. It was said best - the worst thing that ever happened to Titan fans was making the Super Bowl in the first year in Nashville. Fans like myself, old-time Oiler fans that stuck it out, have to filter through countless useless threads on various message boards to find any true quality football talk. I find my best football talk on rival boards, this one included - I just accept the fact that venomous threads against Bud's team are going to be the norm, and I either roll with it or leave. It ain't changing...

Hockey here was a bad idea. Nashville would support an MLB team much better than NHL, IMO, for obvious reasons. Football is king in the South.

As for what we do during the off-season....

I'm at school so I'm usually pre-occupied. College backetball just ended. MLB just started up again so that gets my attention for about a month. The draft is two weeks away. Summer is less than a month away and then it all starts over.

I don't understand the hate on hockey , unless it is ones not understanding of the rules ... (try some hockey one the game systems and put the settings on without rules)

I hated hockey when I was young and honestly didn't know the rules but in college (funny story) I watched my friends on ninetendo play it and then I played it on nintendo and it helped getting me hooked once I learned the strategy and rules..

hockey to me is a combination of fast paced basketball with football hitting and if the score gets to be 3-1 or 4-1, you know there is an ass kicking coming (equivalent to technical foul and getting the team pumped up) (boxing comes into effect) And being a basketball fan ...I loved the rule in hockey that it is an unsportsmanlike conduct to FLOP

I am more of a fast pace guy, soccer is fun to play but not to watch

If you follow hockey it is good on TV too. It is just a matter of understanding it. One thing that was nice when the Sharks started in San Jose the local broadcasters took the time to explain the rules during the game because most did not understand them. It's a lot better game when you know what is going on and why the teams do what they do. Plus the tank is a great place to go for a game.

I mean how many choices can one put on the menu

you are fighting a very tough battle between just serving possum, racoon, and occasional squirrel and there is just a certain way those critters have to be cooked due to the lack of teeth and eating utensils

along with keeping the menu to 2 syllables or less

I would think it would be a very limited menu unless the ole grunt and point technique words over there.

These guys?

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u13/BlazingArrow24/Tennessee/100_7066.jpg

Some questions I want answered...

When this guy went shopping for this outfit, how many did he try on and put back?

Did this guy special order this red troll doll wig?

And if so, did he buy it from the same vendor that supplies the troll doll manufacturers?

What did he think about when he woke up on Sunday morning?

Did he get all dressed up and look in the mirror to give himself the thumbs up before he head out the door? Like, "hey man, you are so cool..."

Why RED??? Aren't the Titans colors some ghey type of blue and white???

Since when does a suit, tie, and facepaint with a flaming red wig go together?

Is this a picture with his only two friends???

Blazing Arrow

He had a friend that was in basically the same color but in blue.

One of the guys is a colts fan and we just stopped them to take a picture.

We differ in alot of things:
We prefer to have a team in one of the largest cities in the US in the finest stadium in the NFL.(not on a dirt road in a rennovated outhouse.)
We prefer to date and marry non-relatives.
We prefer to not have a team owned by Bud Adams.
We prefer to brush our teeth and bathe regularly and go to games with those who do.
We prefer to graduate highschool and not wrap up our education in the 5th grade.
We prefer to go to games in the greatest state in the U.S. (TEXAS)

Winning will come in time...but at the end of the day the Titans will still be in the armpit of America ...Tennesee(joke)...at least until Bud dies or LA builds a stadium.(true)

We prefer to have a team in one of the largest cities in the US in the finest stadium in the NFL.(not on a dirt road in a rennovated outhouse.) Well what do you call LP field?
We prefer to date and marry non-relatives].( your team is named after the inbred children of Uranus..I am just saying)We prefer to not have a team owned by Bud Adams.(nuff said)
We prefer to brush our teeth and bathe regularly and go to games with those who do.(ok over the top)
We prefer to graduate highschool and not wrap up our education in the 5th grade.( historically statistically true because of the mountain regions where illiteracy was the highest...but dont worry...sadly Texas..and rest of nation is catching up)
We prefer to go to games in the greatest state in the U.S. (TEXAS) why would I defend a true statement?

My friend is the one not dressed up as I explained in a previous post. I have no idea why those other guys dressed the way they did or where they got the cloths from. Just a funny pic with a couple super fans. Every team has them. The guy for the Oakland A's wears a cape and plays a banjo. No idea why but he is a staple now.

I assume the red comes from the red tip of the flame on the T in the Titans logo. His blue counter part makes more sense I guess but together they seem to fit I guess.

Both are good football resources for Titans fans to see how much a dirt bag of an owner Bud Adams was and how the City of Houston was held hostage for his demands. It's kind of ironic that he threatened to move the Oilers to the City of Jacksonville in 1987 if he didn't get the Astrodome renovated and then 9 years later he turns around and moves to Tennessee because we didn't give him a new stadium while we were still paying for the renovations to the Astrodome. Now Tennessee,Jacksonville, and Houston are now in the same division.
