Jared Allen taken out on a dirty play by Lions O-Lineman. The guy lunged right at his knees even though he wasn't really even in the play. Not sure what his status is though.

It was Gosder Cherilus. As I posted in the gameday thread, Cherilus is now officially my favorite non-Texan player for the year.

I was just about to start a thread about this. What goes around comes around, and I knew it was a matter of time before someone took revenge on Allen. Sure the O-Lineman will be fined, but now Allen should be fined for running (or limping) out on the field. Even Boomer Esiason on the halftime show said, "he's upset but it's not like he hasn't given out plenty of cheap shots himself".

Yeah, check the NFL forum, there's already a thread about it......to sum up, I think we are all in agreement that he got what he deserves.

If he wants sympathy, he can look it up in the dictionary, it's between sh*! and syphilis.

Sorry about the double thread I didn't see it until after I posted this one, but with the game going on most of the users were looking at this board anyway.

yeah i saw that too. i'm sure everyone's going to agree and say the same thing as us (obviouslly because we lost our starting QB fofr wekks because of him), but maybe he'll think twice before diving at the next QBs knees. What he does on a regular basis ends peoples careers. I hope he felt that fear today, in fact I know he did. lol, did you see his temper tantrom when he got up and limped to the fight he tried to start. what i liked the most was when he was laying on his side on the sidelines...all that was missing was him sucking his thumb. that would have been a great sportcenter clip :)

but great win for the Texans today. let's bring the momentum to the Titans!

PUNK with a capital EVERYTHING!!!

It would been even funnier had they let him walk his strong hand all the way out to Mr. Cherilus to let GC finish him off. I hope his knee is swollen and hurts to walk on all week.

Dominated against the Lions....what a hoss

I don't want to be a hypocrite because I still beleive Trent Green going low on Travis Johnson was a cheap shot. Gosder Cherilus' shot on Jared Allen was a similar shot, however, I do beleive in karma, and Allen paid part of his karma debt...

That's exactly what I thought when I saw this replay. Godser Cherilus should play QB for the Lions now.

He couldnt be much worse than what they got... Allen is a little *****, plain and simple. Hope he doesnt take the edge off the injury with a few drinks...

Honestly, no matter what happened to a Texan player because of him, I can't condone what happened to him. It was a punk ass move. He should have gone after him.

Before reading this thread I honestly didn't think it was purposely done. It looked like a last-ditch effort to protect the QB to me.

I suppose I could be wrong. :winky:
