At least they have a good FG kicker, which is good when your recievers can't catch and your name is Dante Culpepper.

Wow...called this wrong. Are we going to see treble figures for the Tacks?

After some consideration I've come to the conclusion we are NOT the Detroit Lions of the AFC.

Is there a towel Detroit can throw in?

If I were the network advertisers I would sue the Lions and get all my money back cus no one is watching this game.

I just let the wife switch over to some old NCIS episodes that she had Tivo'd. Me, I'd rather just clean the bathroom than watch any more of that.

I don't see how the Lions will win a game this year. They're awful.

I thought the 13 yard punt was a nice touch.

What's worst then watching the Lions get demolished on Thanksgiving? It's watching Jesse McCartney perform at halftime... ughhhhh.

Thanks for ruining Thanksgiving Football CBS!

Time to check out what Snoopy and the gang are up to.

:spit:

I have headphones on so I can't hear the halftime show. Something tells me that's a good thing. I guess they'll do anything to make America want to see more Lions football.

My thoughts as well.

I changed the name of the thread. Partly because it didn't look right (TG Day Games Thread) and partly because I'm bored.

[DISCLAIMER: I'm not griping, a quiet Thanksgiving is good for my soul this year.]

Hmmm. Well I tried to change the title, oh well.

Hey, Detroit scored a touchdown! That's more than Cleveland can say.

Fisher should call off the dogs. Rob Bironas can run for 2 touchdowns against the Lions. Put in the 2nd team, let's see what Vince learned this season

He learned its probably not a good idea to party half naked with your gay friends and get photographed doing it.

He learned that he is not only a sausage entrepreneur but also a connoisseur.

He learned its not a good idea to be depressed, tell your shrink you have thoughts about suicide, and disappear in your car that people know you have a gun in.

He learned to drink heavily before every game.

He learned that Sage is the best back up in the league which means that even Rosencopter is better than he is.

This has been a very good learning environment for VY this year.

It looks like beating #2 is taking shape nicely. (Joe Buck is such a dork, I'm glad I have headphones on.)

NIce quiet day here also Showtime. Games are boring today. The BIRD game might be a little better tonight, but, I doubt it. Think I'll go to the movies.

I might be able to help you in the movie dept. I found a site a while back that has a really good selection of movies. Donna and I now "go to the movies" once a week without leaving the house.

http://www.surfthechannel.com/

Mouse over where it says CHANNELS and a list drops down, click MOVIES and off you go. You might come across a pop up or two, but the site is cool. Actually, going out to see a movie really doesn't sound that bad.

as much as I dislike the Cowboys, I gotta love Martellus Bennett throwing the horns down sign as he ran into the end zone. :)

Thanks Showtime! Sometimes it's just nice to get out of the house. Cheap therapy when you're depressed or sad about something. I can go to the theatre, lose myself in a movie for a couple of hours, gorge myself with expensive popcorn, choc covered raisins, and a HUGE drink, sometimes a hotdog, and come out refreshed. Gotta be a comedy or a chick flick though.:)

The NFL really needs to start mixing in better games for Thanksgiving.. The games are sooooo bad, that we hardly paid attention to them. Kind of defeats the purpose of having football on Thanksgiving.

Yeah, the games were really, really bad.

:offtopicWe didn't watch 30 minutes of football until the A&M/tu game came on and that was awful as well. I am sure tu fans enjoyed every last minute of that game, although, they were probably thankful when Mack finally took Colt out of the game. I don't like to see players get hurt and he was getting hammered (had a great game anyway).
