This is one of those games that Mario doesn't really show up on the "stat sheet" (1 tackle) but he had a great game. He came within a "hair's breath" of at least 2 sacks, and was generally disruptive and putting the pressure on the QB all day. The sacks will come! :mario: = :superman:

He should be credited with sacking the running back. Had he body slammed the QB like he did the running back (Lewis) it would have been a 15 yard penalty.

Super Mario ragdolls Lewis: Defensive end Mario Williams had the statement play of the game when he threw down Browns running back Jamal Lewis like a ragdoll for a three-yard loss early in the third quarter.
“Jamal Lewis, he’s all business,” guard Chester Pittshttp://assets.houstontexans.com/images/relatedicon.gif (http://www.houstontexans.com/news/Story.asp?STORY_ID=4916#) said. “He’s a big, strong man, and to see Mario come in there and wrap him up and throw him to the ground, I’m like, ‘Wow, whoa.’ I said, ‘Alright, big weight room guy.’”

the clip is just over halfway through the highlight reel.

Mario was back there so quick he almost took the handoff himself. Definitely one of the best plays of the game.

Man Mario was the most pumped up Texan I have ever seen
Banging his helmet on other player helmets and jumping up and down
He was ready to put the dog down

Mario can become a primetime beast if he can have an equal or better performance like he had against the Broncos last time we played in a nationally televised game.

The best way to describe Mario was that he was like a pissed off dog trying to break the chain that was holding him back.

another great thing about mario is that he doesnt just rely on speed. unlike a smaller quick guy like Freeney, when mario slows a half step he will still be tough to handle. i could see him being a force for 15 years, hopefully all with us.

I have a feeling Mario is going to look like he did against Denver last year, Battle Red, Monday night and all. If Richard Smith gives in and lets the D get aggressive, he'll really go off.
