Baylor beat Texas A&M 41-21 yesterday in Waco. Here is a quote from the article in the Chronicle:

Bears get to bully Aggies for once (http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/college/6114696.html)
Baylor fans head to field after 41-21 victory at Floyd Casey

WACO — Baylor receiver Thomas White describes his upbringing near Dallas as one of having “a lot of heavy Aggie influence.”

“My uncle was dressed in a maroon sweater,” White said of his relative’s fashion choice during the Bears’ game Saturday against Texas A&M. “But by about the third quarter, it was zipped up under a black jacket.”

No wonder, considering the 41-21 whipping Baylor handed the Aggies before a crowd of 43,549 at Floyd Casey Stadium. Minutes after the final gun, Bears fans began politely pouring onto the field in reserved jubilation.

Dub it a delay of (post)game for Baylor’s second victory in the series since 1986 — and a startling contrast to the Bears’ first-half start against the staggered Aggies.

“This gives us some credibility as a football program,” said first-year Baylor coach Art Briles, whose squad led 20-7 at the half and 41-7 after three quarters. “If they’ve got Texas in their name, we’ve got to beat them. That’s not going to change — it will be the same in (the year) 2020.”

The Bears (4-7, 2-5 Big 12) snapped a four-game losing streak. The Aggies (4-7, 2-5), who lost their second consecutive game, are no longer eligible for a bowl and now reside in the Big 12 South’s basement.

“Each (loss) has been more disappointing than the next,” first-year A&M coach Mike Sherman said. “I take nothing away from Baylor, but we fully expected to come in and play better than we did.

What in the world has happened to the Aggies? Baylor has been the footstool of the Big 12 in football since the conference started, while the Aggies usually have a competitive football team. Will the Aggies be better next year? Is the new Texas A&M coach up to job? What do Aggie fans think of all this? And how do the Bears faithful feel this morning after this big win?

I'm just hoping that the aggies don't fall in the tank and fall third in the state behind Tech as well as far as recruiting goes. We already have enough problems with Oklahoma and LSU taking our players.

Texas A&M doesn't play defense at all. They don't even pretend to.

I heard that they only play 9 players on defense so their opponent can score quickly and A&M can get the ball back and try to keep up.

Due to their inferiority complex with Texas I don't think they care that they suck the rest of the season as long as they beat "TU". This season "TU" is probably the only team they can beat. Of course I am not talking about "UT", I am talking about TU's (Texas Utilities) weekend touch football team.

If Texas loses to those dogs again Colt better go pro because it won't be pretty in Austin.
