so acouple of the guys and myself had a little bit of an arguement about this team and the shitty players but do u see what i mean now... the amount of shitty players on this team ruins everything for the good ones

dont get me wrong i love this team till i die and we have a handful of truely gifted and talented players... but only a handful... and i know the homers are just gonna tell me to stop watching the texans and leave but i will not leave.. cause this is my team.... and i love them

but ok this is the part that know one will like... but lets all admit that this is a shitty team and we need to do some serious damage control.. how many years were the cleveland browns the joke in the league and now they are coming to slowly... how many coaches and how many players did they go threw...

but its time for serious damage control and if that means firing kubes and crew and starting over again then so be it... the only thing im concerned about is if the players actually wanna play for kubes???

so go ahead and rant and call me out saying im an ***** but 7 years of the same old shit is getting boring and im tired of shoveling

I guess your idea of cutting or trading players is different from any rational person. Did you see Bently play yesterday? Bennett is young a second year player and you want him gone, oh that makes great sense if you are Al Davis but no one else. Cochran has been playing better than almost anyone on the D-line and you want him gone to, hell while your at it why not get rid of Mario Williams since he did not have a sack yesterday.

WOW talk about cutting off your nose inspite of the face.

You'll have to excuse Norg as his knowledge of football is exceeded only by his grasp of the English language. He posed the question last week if it might be a good idea to use our first round pick next year on a superstar punter. I mean, the dude thinks Greenwood and Bentley are in the secondary for God's sake.

BTW, Norg, I'm pretty sure Harry Williams won't be playing for the Texans again, hopefully he's able to walk someday though.

Excusing Norg's ignorance for a moment, I would just like to add that The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.

Mcnair need not worry when dunta23 rants and raves. Mcnair needs to worry when dunta23 stops caring.

To add to that, I think I have stopped caring. I was thinking about it yesterday. I didnt get to watch the game because my wife decided to make lunch plans with a couple of friends, ok no problem I recorded the game. Well I got home around 2:45 just in time to see Heap go in to the endzone to give the Ravens 34 and I just pretty calmly walked over to the Xbox and hit the power button, and started up a game of Call of Duty. I forgot about the Texans. I wake up this morning and usually what I do is emerse myself in all things Texans from the Net to the TV. I try getting fellow fans takes from this site. I didnt really do any of that this morning.

I didnt even feel this during the 2-14 season. I cant even explain how or why I feel the way I do aside from saying I just dont care. We are sitting here at week 10 and our season is over, and for the first time Im not mad, nor am I happy. Just like you said Porky I am indifferent. I could go the rest of the season without watching another game(to my wife's extreme excitement).

It sucks to say it but this team doesnt matter. The FO cant seem to do enough/is willing to make this team relevant.

Damn I never thought I would say that. Oh well

Because they are the Houston Texans, I care. But, I'm beggining to find their general ineptitude less irritating and more humorous as the season goes along.

i usually watch the highlights of the games after im done work on sunday night but i havent even bothered looking at them i also have stopped caring but in the end i love this team and i do care...

i was thinking the other day about all the starting players that were undrafted or late round picks that kubes decides to start... are these guys really that good or are they average going against shitty compatition mr mcnair needs to drop some big money on some GOOD FA.... all the FA we bring in have sucked... i dont remember one guy that is actually good and if we dont threw huge amounts of cash at good fa there not gonna come to shitty team... but if the money is right any player will come...

i thought kubes would be the answer to this team but hes not... some guyys arent cut out to be head coaches he might be one of those guys... bring in someone new... its time for a change

I feel the same way about things as described above.

I can't go so far as to say I don't care, because I do. But I will no longer let it upset me as it used to do. I have been investing less and less of my time in reading about and watching this team. Instead of inflicting aggravation on myself for three plus hours watching them I will just read the final score and be aggravated for ten minutes or less.

As to the bolded part...we, as fans, accepted things then because we were an expansion team and we just knew things would get better.

They haven't, and expansion is no longer an excuse.

Originally we blamed the O line, then we blamed our original qb, then we blamed the coaching staff. All these things have changed and where are we?

Still in the bottom of our division, close to the bottom in the entire NFL, and we are still digging.
