Cincinnati was trying to intimidate AJ, hitting him hard and talking to him about it. So, the normally gentle giant lost his cool and had some things to say. Don't let young children read this:

Johnson admitted that he responded verbally, which is unusual for him.

"Yeah, I did," he said. "That's not of my character, but I was just like, 'Hey, that's not going to stop anything. I'm going to be here all day, and I'm going to keep playing.' I guess I felt like they were trying to intimidate me. But I was just letting them know that, 'Hey I'm going to be here for 60 minutes, just like you're going to be here.

"I'm going to keep playing, and, hopefully, you'll keep playing. See how many hits you can get me, and see how many I can take.' That's my way of letting them know I'm alright. I got my helmet knocked off one time. I took a hit under the chin, but I kept rolling. That's all that matters."

I guess I need to find another role model. You just can't lose your cool and be so disrespectful.:sarcasm:

Watch out everyone.

Differences in reponses when confronted by opposing defenses:

TO response : "Y'all Bi&^%es aint got Sh*^, Im taking this rock through the endzone and all the way to yo mommas house"

AJ Response : "I would like the opportunity to prove I am a top notch receiver, and I would appreciate you giving it all you have to stop me. Good luck with all of your future endevours and may god bless you"

Man, what a badass. AJ is like Clint's man-with-no-name for the NFL. Dude is clearly one of, if not the, best WR in the league. But he doesn't gloss himself, prop himself up with empty words, showboat, or any of that nonsense. He proves what he's about by just stepping on the field and doing what he does best.

I hope we see a championship with him and one day 80 is hanging from Reliant's rafters as our first retired number for a HoF player.

If he left at the end of the season, I'd still retire his number.

If he keeps playing like he has the last 5 games there's no doubt in my mind he'll be in the HoF someday. As for the Championship(s), that would be sweet for all of us! :trophy::trophy::trophy: Three would be good to start with. LOL!

Here's to you AJ! Keep up the great play! :fans:

After reading his harsh words, I cried...

If you're a fan of this team and don't have a mancrush on AJ, something is wrong with you.
It would break my heart if he ever left, but I would still support him.

I honestly think sometimes that if I was dead my wife would stalk him and marry him. She's obsessed with AJ, LOL.

That's why I love AJ. He lets his on field play speak for him. :jam:

1. Don't mention death in front of me.
2. I WOULD NOT! I would have no desire to be married to anyone other than you. Nobody could ever possibly fill your shoes baby. (I will keep the fathead on the living room wall though) :D
