My last post on the subject..it has nothing to do with being politically correct. I find that post offensive. And it has NOTHING to do with the Cowboys but rather the subject matter.

If you can't see that suicide is not to be joked about I don't know what else to say about it. To me it's offensive. Not to be used as a punchline in a sports joke under any circumstance about anybody.

But that's just me. And obviously not you.

That sign on TO has been around a long time and it is not the first time it was posted by anyone. While I do not think it would be funny to say it about your family or those in your inner circle, it was made a joke by TO himself and his publicist and the rest of the news around the event. "He has $25 million reasons to lie". It is called separating truth from fiction and not taking things to heart.

Real suicide is a sad affair, but an athlete who accidentally overdoses on drugs because he is stupid and lives is funny. Especially after the presser they had.

None taken :foottap: That is really random. I find that lumping a fanbase into something is a joke. I will never be able to understand people ragging on Cowboy fans for being a-holes when people that complain about them or talk about them are doing the exact same thing they claim to abhor. My 2 cents is this...

There are always things posted on here that offends someone in one shape or another..that's how it is with a diverse group of people we have here.
If you are offended, either send a PM or do not reply....as if everyone posts their objections of whatever, this place would be more of a bit*h board than anything..
Not saying how one goes about speaking their mind, just if you find some posts in bad taste, or whatever, take it to the person directly..this way it keeps this place clear of any possible arguements of what one person thinks is funny and another thinks it is not.

Trust me Frog, the majority of Gurls fans that I know (Ted too, I'm sure) are more like that D-bag in San Antonio. Just for the record, I have had someone very close to me commit suicide. As tragic as it was, I can not find any way to forgive them for what they did to all the people they left behind and hurt in such a vicious and selfish way. If you have been through it, you understand.

People who commit suicide deserve to die.

Well me neither with a pregnant wife and a 14 month old. I just do my Friday happy hour at PF with lawyer friends that we have done for 12 years..not every week for me...or do a Wednesday BW3 call. I usually drink wine and all with dinner at home or when we go to eat at Collinas in the Heights or Tonys Mexican food off of Ella. Is Europa still around?I can't remember the last time I went there. Sorry HookEm, your D-line was the MVP. That was a joke. I'm not taking anything away from your tean or the SB. They are also the best in the NFC right now. But Eli is a product of his team and had a great streak last season. Up until that streak you guys were booing him weekly. He has shown the ability to play like those days plenty this season. I think your O-line and RBs are the key, not Eli. As for this season, I'm disappointed but I wouldn't count the chickens yet since we kic ked your tail twice last regular season and that got beat soundly in the playoffs. Did you watch the game? The Defense was all over Eli and was the only reason it was 14-7 right before half. Johnson gave the Giants multiple short fields and kept the D out there. The second half was much of the same. It wasn't great but you can't pin it on the D.

giving up 200 yds on the ground is not the sign of a very good defense, but I didn't watch but 1/2 the game. maybe most of the 200 came on a few big runs?

There were a few decent sized runs but the Giants ran on these guys at will for the most part. They have been doing that against most teams this season. I think the Giants are the top rushing team in the league. They have a killer line and a 1, 2, 3 punch with Jacobs, Ward, and Bradshaw. Any one of those those would be the starter on the Texans.

Eli and Burress handed the Cowboys 7 points by not being on the same page on a route. Plax cut up and Eli was expecting him to cut back. It went right to a defender who intercepted and walked into the endzone.

Other than that the Giants moved the ball well despite a couple of miscues (Eli fumbled for example). The best thing about the Cowboys defense was their pass rush however it was inconsistent. The Boys occasionally got to Eli but for the most part he had time to make throws.

That would have been an easy TD had Eli gotten it to Burress. He was WIDE open.

Yeah, it looked that way however I was thinking he was only that open because the CB was reading Eli's throw and pulled off of Burress. It's hard to tell. One of those guys clearly was off the page which was probably due to Burress' issues causing him not to be on the field of late.

giving up 200 yds on the ground is not the sign of a very good defense, but I didn't watch but 1/2 the game. maybe most of the 200 came on a few big runs?

Sorry, just testy today. The second half they were gouging them with some bigger runs. First half I really thought the D kept them in it...heck, their only TD was an int. They were outmanned overall though. I just think the offenses ineptness kept them on the field too much.

Exactly. We will see. They definitely need 5 of 7 to have a shot.

Giants vs Titans SB sounds very reasonable to me. Call me crazy.

I was thinking about this today. I don't know if I could handle that. It would be too much pressure on me personally. Not only would I have a strong rooting interest in the Giants, I would have an even more intense "losing" interest in the Titans.

The ultimate worse scenario to end all nightmare scenarios would be Collins getting injured, having Vince Young come on the field and somehow win the game for the Titans.

OMG, the horror if that ever happened. I would have to leave Austin, actually I would probably just leave the country.

I do not mind NY but not the Titans.

Hey Jerry. Byron Leftwich is doing well for Pitt. Dear Lord, you could have picked up anyone but Johnson.

It's only been this year that Brad has played this poorly. It's been with the Cowboys for at least 2 years now I think.

It's fairly obvious that he's done as an NFL player. I thought otherwise but was wrong!
