Chad Ocho Cinco planned on pulling out Obama banner (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Barack-Obama-may-not-have-approved-this-message?urn=nfl,118194)

According to Pro Football Talk, Chad Johnson had plans this past Sunday, had he scored a touchdown, to waive a Barack Obama banner that he had hidden in the endzone in Reliant Stadium.

crowd reactions may have been interesting from a sociological standpoint.

Something like Joe Texan being tackled on the field I assume.

If he hid it in the North End Zone, I'd have feared for Ocho-Cinco's life...

So did he have one hidden in each end zone, just in case. Or did he have someone moving it from end zone to end zone each quarter? Or did he plan on scoring in both end zones? Or..... Nevermind.

Besides, didn't you hear, Houston will go democratic this election. :penalty:

LOL! That would've been a great sociological experiment. Some people's brains would have exploded during the confusion of whether to cheer or boo him.

Aren't all religions, even Footballism, supposed to be kept separate from politics?

According to PFT, he had hidden a banner in each endzone...

If he had pulled the stunt, the rain of beer upon him would have rivaled the downpour of Ike.

And the Commish would have fined and suspended him (after he got out of the hospital)

That would have been pretty damn awesome. Part of me wishes he had scored. ;)

And he wouldn't have gotten to the hospital. It's not like all of Houston is Republican. harris County is going Democrat this election. :)

Think Obama would have paid his fine from the NFL?

Think Obama would have paid his fine from the NFL?

Chad probably wanted Obama to use some of his campaign funds to buy up all those Chad Johnson jerseys so he can start wearing his Chad Ocho Cinco jersey for games.

Think Obama would have paid his fine from the NFL?

Yeah. He would have gotten more than enough donations that afternoon to pay for it.

When Bengals fans were asking him to perform on the field, I don't think this is what they had in mind.

And people were worried about Obama getting the latin vote. When a guy with the last name 'Ocho Cinco' votes for you, its gotta be a good sign

George and Barb were at the game in the owner's suite. They would not have approved of that message.

He had 2 TD's today, but apparently no banner...

I guess "Uncle Roger" sent him a memo....
