Pair of Vikings stars face possible suspension (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8722670)

FauX Sports has learned that both of the Minnesota Vikings' Pro Bowl defensive tackles, Kevin Williams and Pat Williams, are also facing suspensions for testing positive for the same product. Losing one of the Williams would be a major blow to the Vikings but to possibly lose both would serve as a major blow to the NFC North contenders.

Hope they get this appeal outa the way before next weeks game .... would really weaken the Vikes.

Huuuuge blow to the Vikes if they're suspended. Chris Myers should be happy that he won't have to be "Hamptonized" again. :whip:

Best update I could find.

Maybe the latest update but certainly not the best.

Best update would be something saying that they're not going to play and that the Vikes are going to have to put some undersized LB's at the DT position.

Sigh.

Thanks for the link, though. Keeps my false hopes to a minimum.

The Texans should just prepare like they're going to play the starters and even if they sit them then they should still expect to have to play hard for 60 minutes to win that game. Getting hung up on things like who's sitting out is like getting excited about facing a backup QB or thinking that they're going to have an advantage because they're wearing white in hot weather while the other team is wearing black. I think the Texans in the past have focused too much on that stuff. I've seen an army of backups regularly destroy us for the last 6 years. If they don't play then great. If they do then great. We need to go get a 4th "W" regardless.

Well said, I think the team will be ready for them but those two are going to make their plays in the running game and passing game. I still believe we are going to be able to pass on that team, should be a good game.

I agree with all of that. I also think Myers and Brisiel will get owned if the Williams Bros. play.

Nothing new yet. But lets hope that by Thursday we get an answer.
