lord I hope our guys don't pencil this one in as a win even before they take the field.

I haven't been angry at the team yet, but coming out flat would certainly set me to Angry Mode.

He didn't play last Sunday either, so I imagine they've been game planning for this scenario anyway. I don't think this announcement will turn the game into a trap. At least I sure hope it doesn't. If so, then Kubiak=Fail.

Lions fans...we feel your pain...but really no excuse to lose this one...NONE at all.

never discount a team looking for their first win, just ask Miami about that. LOL

Might have just gotten a bit easier, apparently WR Roy Williams has been traded to the Cowboys (according to Schefter).

I read something like that over on one of the Lion's message boards. Unfortunately they didn't name a source or have a link.

They actually just announced it on NFL Live so it definitely sounds official. Still got Calvin Johnson though.

Ummmm, yeah. That sounds pretty official. He was the one guy that I was a little worried about going into this game.

Calvin's no slouch either. Then again, they've got Orgshgsgfadfsky QBing for them.

Damn!
We could have used another weapon like that.

Yeah but not for a 1st 3rd and 6th. Pretty sure that was the deal at least.

A buddy of mine from that part of the world tells me that Kitna has been put on IR.

Silver Oak

sounds fishy that he was on the trading block, or was going to be placed on IR. Why would some team want to trade for a qb with an injured back midway through the season?

Roy Williams wont be playing either seeing as he is most likely going to the cowboys.

Wow, the Lions are certainly trying for that magic 0-16 season jesus.

That's a great trade for the Lions since they'll have two 1's, two 3's, and two 6's in the draft.

Cowboys are going to be awfully quiet draft day.

Guess he won't be winning 10 games this year...

Strange thing with Kitna. The back injury may be much worse than the Lions said at first.

Too bad for Kitna, I actually like his rowdy style of football, who knows, we could end up having him as our backup. A backup controversy! :)

I think the Cowboys have officially lost their minds...wtf???

Interesting turn of events. This could be a nice stat padder.

I have learned never to count on an easy win with a relatively inexperienced backup in the game. This is called the "Fitzpatrick Effect".

You would be well to say the same for the Texans.
Keep in mind, when you have a new QB with little film to study, it's just like that box of chocolates Forest was talking about. With all their stacking "warts," we don't really know for sure what we're going to get on Sunday. Unlike our past tendencies, we better be well prepared.........for anything and everything...........if we aren't, we'll probably see it.

They wanted THAT much!?
No way.
