I wonder if the same would have happened if the Texans have drafted him. Too bad for the kid, he has alot of talent, but seems injury prone..

ouch. best of luck to him on the recovery.

on the raido yesterday, Kubiak sounded really impressed with D. Brown. Kubes said how he thinks he's a really special player, and that the kid LOVES to play football and to pay attention to him on the sidelines. Of course that could all be coaches talk.

Just think though, we got Duane Brown, Steve Slaton and Dominique Barber with that original 1st round pick!

Ray Lewis was in the kid's ear the entire game.

Apparently, Mendenhall did not heed his warnings...

I would have told ol ray ray that I could ran faster to the sidelines than he could. :)

Yeah, especially in the game last night. As a huge fan of football it was awesome to watch, but the two team's hatred of each other cost them both in regards to health.

I'm not saying because what I want to say might be something I regret saying. If you look at our roster though, I think you'll know what I'm saying. Eventually payback will be a mother.:pirate::cowboy1::bat:

I, for one, am elated that we decided to pass on Mendenhall and roll with D. Brown, D. Barber, and A. Moulden.

Not that anybody can forsee an injury like that, but the kid has not been impressive in any way shape or form since entering the NFL. Maybe next year he'll do much much better.

Am I ever glad I traded him for Slaton. Too bad I can't cut Willie Parker....

Why?He will be back and will be the featured back with no comp from Mendehall. They signed the dumper Najeh Davenport too. I think he will get the load of the carries because Moore is a 3rd down guy.
