Schaub's Contract

I don't remember seeing this posted anywhere. A lot of people have been talking about our new FO and the bad deals they've made. And while it's still in question whether the Schaub deal was good or bad, his contract isn't as bad as a lot of people are making it out to be.

Basically, the Texans have an out after next year and a minimum hit of $19.95 million. The 6 year $48 million is only if they decide to keep him.

look what Cleveland gave up for Brady Quinn or the Colts gave up for Ugoh (sp). That is the nature of the business. At the time it was worth the gamle, of course we will find out by end season if it was worth the risk.

Agreed, but that deal is done with the picks. Doesn't affect the Texans in the future.
