Anyone ever thought about what kind of team you could put together if you used pro players who are from Texas? Personally I think if Texans played on Texas teams we could own a monopoly on Superbowls like New York has on MLB.

Of current players?

QB - Drew Brees
RB - Ladanian Tomlinson
RB - Priest Holmes
FB - ???
WR - Tim Brown
WR - Roy Williams
WR - Michael Clayton
TE - Dan Campbell ?
LT - Leonard Davis
LG - Dan Neil
C - Seth McKinney
RG - Andre Gurode
RT - Mike Williams

DE - Corey Redding
DT - Shaun Rogers
DT - Casey Hampton
DT - Ty Warren
OLB - Warrick Holdman
MLB - Dat Ngyuen
OLB - DD Lewis
CB - Aaron Glenn
CB - Quentin Jammer
CB - Sammy Davis
FS - Chris Carter
SS - Terrence Kiel

K - Phil Dawson
P - Shane Lechler

That's about the best I could do. Probably have some mistakes in there and could probably have named better players. But I'd take that team and watch 'em develop.

You would probably have to seperate California in to north and south.

That would be NoCal and SoCal for the non-California politically incorrect. (I love pseudo double negatives--OK that was just me)

A guy did some research on a Longhorn message board and came up with these Pro Bowlers:

Bertrand Berry, Humble (DE)
Michael Lewis, Rosenberg Lamar (FS)
Jeremiah Trotter, Hooks (MLB)
Alan Faneca, Rosenberg Lamar (G)
Sam Adams, Houston Cypress Creek (DT)
Larry Izzo, The Woodlands (Special Teams)

NorCal is what they use up here, not NoCal, that would be Jim Rome!

I wasn't trying to use the term folks up there would use for themselves.
