60% percent chance of showers, as of right now. I think a mud fest could help us slow down their run game.

I can imagine how much it will help ours.........and our passing game. Maybe Kubiak should rent out some Slip-N-Slide for practice this weak. Or better yet, playing out in the hurricane should well prepare us for "adverse conditions.":headhurts:

As of right now (15 hours after the thread was initiated), that weather forecast shows temp range of 59 - 76 degrees with 0 chance of rain for Sept. 7, so dunno what you're looking at ?

Remember the Monday Night game from last year?:thud: I hope it's not that bad. I remember on one punt the ball just stuck in the mud. That was terrible playing conditions.

Well they ought to keep the balls in clorox water before they roll them out at practice. Mud game might help. Aren't they on field turf ?

Actually the Steelers have a field made of a hybrid of natural grass "enhanced" with artificial fibers...........called Desso GrassMaster. NFL stadiums bearing this hybrid besides Heinz Field include Lambeau (Packers), Lincoln Financial (Eagles) and Invesco (Broncos). When it rains, you get the worst of both worlds................muddy AND slippery.

I think the forecast may be Steelers RBs flying deep into our secondary and Texans RBs falling down behind the center. The rest will consist of dropped passes all over the field. Stay tuned to see if our specials teams make it not embarrassing (the score, anyway).

Yeah that's my knee jerk also. Maybe they can shove a Serrano pepper up T.J.'s kester and get him lit up before the game. The guy's been on coast for four years be nice for him to stand up and man up once and have a pro bowl type game.. They need very big games out of their DTs to have a chance.,

They just used the term "benign" in reference to the weather conditions on 610's pregame Radio Show. No help from the weather. Vinny quick....take the saftey and reboot.

Apparently, they played a college game yesterday and the field is supposed to be in pretty bad shape.
