He's better than anyone we currently have @ RB

He has good hands (returns kickoffs)

He is a one cut runner & is fairly durable, more durable than any RB we have now.

He had good games against JAX last year.

I think there are some character issues there, as well as on-field concerns, if I read Steelers' fans thoughts correctly.

They were not sad that he departed from Steel Town.

I, at first sight of him being cut from the Steelers, felt like you did. But I think there's a reason he's not here.

Just what we need............He was involved in domestic abuse last year........and a couple of years ago, he broke into a college girl's dormitory room and deposited a turd (his, of course) in her laudry basket.

He's also never carried more than 107 times in a season, and he does have an injury history missing 11 games in '05 and 8 games in '02. If we're looking for someone to come in and be reliable, I don't think he's the guy in any sense of the word.

I assume he did not carry an old turd into this girls dorm, but instead left a fresh one? Damn! Charles Haley has some competition for Sickest Dude.

Got a nice chuckle out of that one. The naughty, little boy in me just won't die...

I'd rather take a look at Marcel Shipp who was cut on the 4th by the cards. Not a game breaker but a guy who I think would be solid all around.

How many guys wouldn't like to take a dump in one of their ex-girlfriends clothes hamper.

He hasn't done anything illegal.

Oh wait taking a dump in your ex-girlfriends clothes hamper is illegal. LOL

Marcell Shipp sounds like a better option.

Davenport has not done much in his career. He has a lot of injury and fumble issues when he was with Green Bay.

2007 was his most productive career with not even 500 yds. His second highest was in 2002 or 2003 with the Packers at just over 400 yds.

Thanks for that little reminder... :foottap: I had forgotten about that.

Everytime I hear this guys name I think of that incident. I guess the Rome show had it seered into me.

It took me a long time to detox from hearing about it on Rome's show...

Hey... In two seasons, you can draft a QB (that is of course if you dont draft another RB).

Well you'd hope after 3 seasons running they took a RB high they'd be set.

Young, Lendale and Now Johnson.

That poor girl's laundry wouldn't be the only place that Davenport would leave a turd should he be signed to play here. As a player, he's second rate at best.
