Crazytown footballer Pacman Jones may want to avoid Vegas for his next vacation. The Clark County D.A. is seeking a felony arrest warrant for Pacman for allegedly running out on a $20K gambling debt at Caesars Palace.

The Bad Check Unit -- the same peeps who went after Charles Barkley -- say Jones hasn't paid back three markers, two for $5,000 and one for $10,000 to the casino. The warrant hasn't been granted by a judge yet, and his lawyer tells the Las Vegas Sun (http://lasvegassun.com/news/2008/may/23/gambling-debt-chases-pacman/) that he's going to pay up.

Jones is trying to get back into the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys after he was suspended by the NFL all of last season. He's been arrested six times since 2005

In the old days of Vegas if you skipped out on a debt, you got a one-way ride out to the desert.

Nah, I think he's making the NFL look bad. The dude's a piece of shit and if Goodell's going to continue to try to clean up the NFL he needs to whack this dude. If not, he's a hyprocrite.

I hear what you're saying and for all intents and purposes - I buy it.... I'm just saying that you need a couple of Pac-Mans and vincents around to laugh at.

I see your point, but there has to be a proverbial line drawn somewhere. Right? I mean this cat is off the hook with asshatness.

Roger Goodell is already a hypocrite, he became that when he let Bill Belicheat slide without any suspension whatsoever.

He still handed Bill and the Pats the largest penalty in history (I think).

I don't see the hypocrisy at all. There are different forms of punishment. The Titans didn't lose a draft pick over Pacman's adventures. Was that hypocrisy?--of course not. Player punishment, coach punishment and team punishment don't have to come in the same form to remain appropriate.

Yeah, but Bill doesn't care about that (he has plenty of money)......Goodell was handing out suspensions like candy when he took over and if he really wanted to send a message he should've gave Belichick a suspension also. When he didn't he came off looking like a hypocrite, especially since technically Pacman Jones was never officially charged with any wrong doing in the Las Vegas incident and he still served a year. What's good for the goose in good for the gander.

If I were to call Goddell a hyocrite (which I don't beleive he is), I would have used the Pac Man v. Tank Johnson as an example before I would the Patriots v. Pac Man.

Well everybody is entitled to their opinion, but I don't think the punishment was steep enough.

I mean they took a first round pick.....great NE had another one. The whole thing just seemed fishy the way the commish first tried to handle everything, destroying tapes, it just made it seem like he was just trying to cover everything up.

Now it's coming out that Bill had IR players practice and he would stash healthy players on IR........it's pretty clear the guy broke about every rule he could possible get away with for years now, I still think he needs to be suspended........atleast for a couple of games.

I don't think he was hypocritical in the Pats ordeal at all. I think if Pac-man were to be reinstated you could definitely consider hypocrisy.

I think sometimes people think Goddell was light on the Patriots, because well, its the Patriots. People just hate the Patriots that much... :thisbig:

Why, Pacman did the time, when to this day he still hasn't been charged in any wrong doing. Is he a sh*thead.....yes, but he did the time and for the most part has kept a low profile the entire year he was out (which is exactly what the commish told him to do). I'm not a fan of Pacman, but I also believe if somebody does their punishment that was laid out to them, they should get a chance to redeem themselves.

I suppose we should let OJ redeem himself as well since he wasn't charged.

Come on, this guy's been screwing the pooch since coming into the league. I don't care if he's been charged or not. Being arrested 5-6 times is enough to tell me he's a piece of shit that has worn out his welcome in the NFL.

IMO, he should be banned from the NFL. If you don't, let's just leave it at "agree to disagree" :)

I am not sure you got the sarcasm in that. I am a Titans fan ... I am sure some of you got it.

I am more upset that his dumbness is going to cost us next seasons 4th round pick. He is like an ex, just when you think you are finally done with it all they come and take one last thing.

I have always made it a point to pay my markers before checking out of the casino. I don't understand why Barkley, PacMan, and probably others get these high dollar markers, enjoy the comps from the hotel, and then think they don't have to pay?

There is no if factor here.
Once his rights were acquired by the boys his re-instatement was a done deal.
Its a wink wink nod nod deal between jerruh and the commish. Jerruh pulls the strings.

IMHO of course.
