link to story on espn.com: Browns Release CB Kenny Wright (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3396216)
Couple of quotes from the story:
The Cleveland Browns have terminated the contract of veteran cornerback Kenny Wright, the team announced Wednesday. The move comes after Wright had a recent off-the-field incident that could affect his playing status for the 2008 season.
On April 3, Wright was incarcerated after reportedly being caught with marijuana in his vehicle in Pearland, Texas, and leading police on a quarter-mile foot chase. The Browns have looked into the incident, talked about it with Wright and decided to release him.
Wright also had stints with the Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Redskins. He recorded 364 tackles, three sacks and seven interceptions during his nine-year career.
Not saying we add him to the mix. Just reporting on a former Texans player for those who might not know otherwise.
