CINCINNATI (AP) — Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry has been accused of punching an 18-year-old in the face and breaking his car window with a beer bottle.

Court documents show Henry was charged Wednesday with misdemeanor assault and criminal damaging in the Monday incident in Cincinnati. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The 24-year-old player was in court last week after being ticketed for driving with expired Kentucky license plates.

They should have the old Portland Jailblazers go up against the current Cincinnati Bungles in some type of deathmatch to see who would win.

no wonder the Bengals arent trading Chad Johnson. its quite obvious you cant count on Henry for anything other than embarassing your franchise.

Henry needs a full year banishment ala Pac Man at the least. These guys need to realize that they can't get involved in all this street drama. It's gonna get them killed, put in jail, or at least make them unemployable.

It's a GD shame. That guy can play ball. Ah well, you would think for a couple of million a year, you could calm down in 'real life'.

Wow...what a bloody fool (again).

The Bengals want to be smacking him senseless for this. Their recieving corps next year is going to be...well...lonely at the moment! Unless they've decided that this years WR draft crop isn't as bad as people thinks :headhurts:

*Waits for Goodell to arrive on his white horse and lay the smack down on Henry*

He may get that and more. He may never play another game again.

He shouldn't play again...no one will tough him. He just came back the end of last season. The guy is a mess. Sad too because he is talented.

What wouldn't any of us give to have his talent and the chance to play in the NFL, not to mention the salary, and he pisses it away.

Who knows what Roger will do, he's all over the map with incosistency, however I think he will drop the hammer on ole Henry.

So how much more time is Marvin Lewis and whoever the GM in Cinncinnati going to get?

TheRealJoker

I think that Marvin has lost this team. You can say, "Its not his fault that the players do this stuff." but in all actuality it comes back to him since he is the head coach. He is the one who isn't making an example out of the first headcase that gets out of line which is why the rap sheet keeps growing. He refuses to do what's necessary to regain control of his team.

Guys like Chris Henry should've been cut long ago to send a message. We saw what happened as soon as Cedric Wilson got in trouble on the Steelers, his ass was sent packing he wasn't given 2nd and 3rd chances.

Then you've got a guy like Chad Johnson saying whatever the hell he wants and demanding a trade. Hell its even been rumored he took a swing at Marvin!!! Marvin refuses to get rid of him and is gonna let him sit out the season which he obviously wont do. More than likely he'll come back at the start of the season, be handed a starting job (since your # 3 will more than likely be suspended by Goodell since Lewis cant clean this up himself) and proceed to give an effort similar to Randy Moss when he played with the Raiders until his contract is up or the new coach trades his ass.

2009 NFL Draft:

With the ... pick of the ... round the Cincinatti Bengals select...

Ryan Perrilloux, QB, LSU.

What a dumbo.

He can't leave his house without doing something dumb. If I were Marvin I would get rid of Chad and Chris Henry, resign TJ to a #1 WR contract, and draft a receiver in the second or third round. Seems to be one of the only answers.

Imagine how pissed Carson Palmer is.

He'll likely be suspended for a year anyways. I have a feeling that Marvin Lewis will lose his job sometime during this season. They really need someone in there who will clean house. The sooner the better.

Henry is a repeat offender. He's looking at a year suspension, minimum. The Bengals may act sooner; a la the Steelers.

Couldn't happen to a better guy.

Seriously though, he is going to keep doing this crap until he gets sent up for a little time. But hey he is rich and a ball player so he can keep getting arrest and not do anytime where if this was Average guy we would be doing time in State jail two years no early release.

I bet they would like to have Kevin Walter back right about now.

The Texans have a knack of acquiring back-ups from teams where the starters end up in jail. Schaub and Walter are both good character guys who were backing up guys that are turds with talent.

FYI--since Henry does not have four years in the league he has to pass through waivers. Any team could get him with his remaining three years of contract. The contract would not run during any suspension by the league.

Sad news for the Bengals, but Henry brought it on himself. Chalk up another opponent that has one less weapon next season.....
Packers minus Favre, Bengals minus Henry...possibly Ocho Cinco.

So did the Bengals. They have sacraficed integritty for a chance to win, and now they are getting what they deserve. Marvin Lewis may lose his job over these guys he brought in, and he can only blame himself.

The Bengals are at it again, look at this story

One judge called Henry a "one man crime wave."

http://www.wlwt.com/news/15778442/detail.html

Henry and some other Bengals could face criminal charges in an incident early Sunday at BANG nightclub.

Chris Henry, Chris Perry and Domata Peko were escorted out by police when the club closed, and a police officer working security around 1 a.m. said the players had become unruly.

"They're destroying a ceiling in the back room here, and they're all highly intoxicated," the officer said in a recording obtained by News 5. "The bar owner wants them ejected from the bar, so we're going to try and eject them now, but they've been kind of rowdy all night."

Multiple sources told News 5 that Henry was smoking a marijuana cigar inside the club and some of the players hung from a chandelier, ripping it from the ceiling.
Witnesses also said the players sprayed champagne on patrons and lifted up women’s skirts before they were escorted out.

Police said no charges have been filed pending the settlement of damages

No other information about that incident has been released, but the Bengals announced Thursday that Henry had been cut from the team following a string of legal problems, some of who have led to Henry being suspended by the NFL for more than half of last season.

This article mentions Chad Johnson but it was Chris Perry

On Monday night, a University of Cincinnati student told police Henry punched him in the head and destroyed a window in his car by throwing a beer bottle at it.

By the time police arrived, Henry was gone, said Henry's friend Whitney Jackson.

Days later, a warrant for Henry's arrest was sent out.

Henry wore a navy blue-and-white workout suit when he stood before a judge in Hamilton County Municipal Court Thursday to face charges of assault and criminal damaging from the Monday night incident.

Henry pleaded not guilty.

Judge Bernie Bouchard ordered him jailed on $51,000 bond.

"You've kind of become a one-man crime wave," Bouchard said.

And yet he is still a free man.

If this were not a pro athlete, he would've been behind bars a long time ago.

Yup. If any of us was arrested once we would be sitting there getting run through. I am never sure how people keep getting to do these things except for their celebrity.

Unfortunately, his (like Pacman's) collegiate history, had anyone paid attention, would have clearly predicted was is going on today. His problems were obfuscated not addressed. This article [Henry on path to self-destruction] (http://www.timeswv.com/wvu_sports/local_story_097003328.html)chronicles those problems

CINCINNATI (AP)—Running back Quincy Wilson has been waived by the Cincinnati Bengals.

It is the second time in the past five days the Bengals released a player who had been arrested.

The second-year running back from West Virginia was arrested last June 17 in Huntington, W.Va., and charged with disorderly conduct for failing to disperse after a weekend wedding party. The Bengals waived him Monday.

Wilson was the 10th Bengals player arrested in a 14-month span.

The Bengals recently released receiver Chris Henry, another former West Virginia star, after he was arrested last week on an assault charge, his fifth arrest while he was with the team.
