Eugene Wilson (S, NE) signed with the Bucs.

Freddie "FredEx" Mitchell (WR, unemployed) still thinks he has game.

Derrick Ward (RB, NYG) is sticking with the Giants (I guess the new QB controversy intrigued him too much to leave).

Dan Klecko (played everything with the Dolts and Patsies) signed with the Iggles.

Bryant Johnson (WR3, AZ) signed with the Niners.

Mark Brunell (QB, WAS) signed with the Taints.

The Patriots must really think that the secondary is unimportant. Have they lost 3 starters in this offseason, or was Wilson not a starter there?

Meriweather is the starter.

Meriweather is the starter.

Ahhh that makes a bit more sense. Thanks for the clarification.

They lost Wilson, Gay, and Samuels.

Gay was not a starter and Wilson was basically holding the position until Merriweather was ready. They are very high on BM. They figure that they have enough depth so that they will not miss Samuels leaving. Remember when Ty law left? That opened the door for Samuels. They think they can do it again.

Dan Klecko (played everything with the Dolts and Patsies) signed with the Iggles.

He played mainly DT for Indy, but apparently he's going to play FB in Philly. While Klecko is capable of this, I'm a bit confused because you would think there would be a player with more experience and potential at FB than him.

They have a kid named Jason Davis who they have kept around on the p.s. for two years. UDFA from Ill. Not a bad player from what I remember from pre season games. They have also shown interest in J. Hester at the Senior Bowl and combine. Klecko will most likely be used as back up DT.

Every where Klecko goes, the team wins Super Bowls so this can't hurt. If Klecko does get time at FB you have a Temple Owl blocking for a Villanova Wildcat (Westbrook).

I wonder if Freddie Mitchell is still thanking his hands for helping him being unemployed.

Fred can't even catch on in Canada. Still blames McNabb for being cut by Philly. Says it was because he sided with T.O.

Those late nights in the clubs on Delaware Ave. were your fault, Fred, not McNabb's.

I don't think this was worthy of a new thread so I felt this was the best place.

He reminds me of Woody Williams. He should've retired 2 years ago.

Eric Moulds-WR-Titans Mar. 20 - 8:41 am et

No teams have shown interest in free agent Eric Moulds this offseason.

"There is nothing going on with Eric right now," his agent said. "Im not sure what hes going to do." Moulds, 34, may be contemplating retirement.

Boulware visiting the Vikings.

Michael Boulware-DB- Texans Mar. 20 - 11:38 am et

Free agent S Michael Boulware will visit the Vikings this weekend.

The prime example of a college linebacker that didn't work out as an NFL safety despite having all the "measurables," this is Boulware's first sniff of interest in free agency. He'd be a backup strong safety in Minnesota.

Boulware offically a Viking:

That was quick.

The Vikings signed free agent Michael Boulware today, giving them depth at safety. Boulware came in for a visit today; he visited with the Carolina Panthers on Monday. “I had a great meeting with the coaches and liked the direction that the organization is going,” Boulware told my colleague Kevin Seifert as he rode to the airport. “I think this gives me a great opportunity to come here and get better as a player.”

The Pats just picked up Fernando Bryant.

For those wondering why Rick Smith was interested in him... apparently the Pats think he has value also.

I'd rather have Dyson, but we haven't really heard anything new on that front at all since Dyson/Bryant first came up.
