Notice who is at #30--but their QB is just suffering from WR's with dropsies.

The Giants may have dropped the most in the regular season. But, they caught the one that counted the most.

I wonder if they'll make a poster out of that one.

I was nice to see it happen against Harrison too. Harrison's an asshat. He'll spear you when you're already down, but he'll pat you on the back afterwards. :elle:

Dude, you have to quit with the @ signs instead of "a"s it makes any point you are trying to make mute because it is so hard to read.

Indeed it does which is disappointing because threetoe normally has something worth reading.

Does no one else find this annoying? What do you want people to use to discuss football. All we have is stats.

All the Original Poster said was that we were last in dropped passes. There is no twist in that

Its not just this particular time, its the fact that every time someone posts stats, someone invariably posts this "original" quip

Considering how much we threw the football, being last in this category is phenomenal. We had three receivers with 700+ yards and there were only 15 drops. That is freaking amazing.

Vinny wasn't talking about the Texans stats when he posted that, he was responding to what cak pointed out.... The Titans tied for 2nd fewest dropped passes. As most of us well know, many Vince Young supporters like to pull the "it's not his fault the receivers can't hold on to the ball" argument.

There is, on the other hand, a small argument that can be made in favor of VY. The Titans had 464 pass attempts compared to the Texans 529. That means that the Titans receivers dropped 3.45% of passes per attempt, compared to the Texans 2.84%.

So, based on that.... VY's receivers did drop the ball .61% more. That's far less than a one percent difference and is therefore not suitable for debate.

Numbers don't tell the whole story, but they don't lie. Mark Twain, I have vanquished thee.
