IRVING - Tony Romo is a happy man. Flozell Adams is going nowhere.
The Dallas Cowboys agreed to a six-year deal with the Pro Bowl left tackle only hours before he was supposed to hit the free-agent market.
By keeping Adams, the Cowboys have protected Romo's blind side and kept the offensive line intact for a second consecutive season.
Adams, a second-round pick in 1998, and Greg Ellis, the first-rounder that year, are the longest-tenured Cowboys. Adams has missed only 10 games in his career - all in 2005 when he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee - and has played in four of the last five Pro Bowls.
