Indianapolis head coach Tony Dungy will return to the helm of the Colts for the 2008 season, reports NFL Network's Adam Schefter.

The Colts have called a press conference for 4:30 p.m. ET today that will include Dungy, owner Jim Irsay, general manager Bill Polian and assistant head coach Jim Caldwell.

He's getting burned out, though. Which means that his best coaching years are behind him. If his heart and entire being were truly into it, a decision would not have to have been made.

Hopefully, the Colts suffer a losing season and Dungy finally gives up.

Him leaving would have had little effect on that team, no that he doesn't do anything to help but they have the right people in the organization to work well without him.

The chances of that happening seem about as remote as the Dolphins making the playoffs next season

While I do like Favre, I never said I wasn't sick of having to hear about his speculation either.
