"It's believed there has been some dialogue between Parcells and former Washington and Houston general manager Charley Casserly about the general manager position."

based on my "sources" it looks like Jeff Ireland will be Miami's next GM.

Cameron may be gone, too. not a fan of that move.

I think you guys should keep Cameron as a coach, but if not, we'll take him as OC.

simply......WOW

Parcells is old but not senile.....go look at the Texans first 3 drafts and tell me with a straight face that Asserley should get a sniff of a GM spot.

The 1st 2 years of drafting were just horrific.

This is the same guy who drafted by Heath Shuler AND David Carr. i wouldn't let him get within a stone's throw of Miami HQ. methinks Parcells will bring in a protege that he can control and tutor.

That's why Bill has final say of all football decisions - to avoid another David Carr situation.

Thats why Bill cut him loose after the season: link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quincy_Carter)

However, in his third season, under newly-hired head coach Bill Parcells, Carter retook the starting job and led the Cowboys to a 10-6 record and a playoff appearance. Hutchinson was released the next season after playing in NFL Europe.

As did Gary Kubiak. Notice that Bill kept Q around just like Kubiak did Carr...for one season.

Well Carter has had a ton of personal issues off the field. He needs to get his life straight
