Can't believe they won. They are partying down there in Miami. The Ravens must feel bad.

Brian Billick should lose his job for not going for it on 4th and Goal from inside the 1 yardline with 12 seconds to go. The players wanted it. The momentum was there. They had time for 2 plays from that distance, should something strange happen.

The Ravens should be ashamed.

But how do you get 2 plays off on 4th and goal? 5th and goal?

If you have 4 and goal, how can you have 2 plays?

I am disappointed for them, to get so close to perfect putridity and not stumble at the final hurdle is a big let down for them and their entire fanbase.... some teams aren't even good at being historically bad....

several dolphins fans at this sports bar were crying and hugging after the win.

i can say with certainty that the fanbase wanted this win badly.

If only they could've held on to the streak for one more week. I would've loved to see the Dolphins somehow manage to get their first win against the undefeated Patriots. Broadcasters all across the nation would exclaim WTF! then their heads would explode. It would've been perfect. Oh well congrats to the Fins for screwing up my dream scenario.

I still expect them to beat the Patriots. It's never an easy game for the Pats when it comes to the Dolphins.

Well, the only winless season in "modern" history anyway. There's been a winless (including no ties) season 27 times in NFL history. However, it's only happened 5 times with teams that played 10 or more games in a season, the last before the Bucs went 0-14-0 in '76 was the Brooklyn Tigers and a Chicago-Pittsburgh mix (I'm guessing because of the war) both going 0-10-0 in 1944

The other 2;
Chicago Cardinals 0-10-0 in 1943
Detroit Lions 0-11-0 in 1942

I'm happy for the 'Phins & their coachs, really the whole organization.
It would be a real bad stigma to be a member of the only NFL team ever in the year they were winless.

I was rooting for the Dolphins, I didn't understand why some people actually wanted them to go winless. Congrats to all Dolphin fans.

the win over Baltimore was the conference championship. the New England game is the Super Bowl.

also Troy Smith came into the game late for the Ravens after Boller got hurt. they'd be STUPID not to start him from now on; he looked good. especially moving in and out of the pocket. no doubt he can be a really good one the in NFL.

also Lorenzo Booker looks to be Miami's cheaper version of Reggie Bush.

That's not really saying all that much.... except for the savings in salary of course.

as i've said many times before, Bush would make a decent cheap 3rd down back. in fact, he'd be a fan favorite on most teams.....IF he were not making 60 million dollars, but instead something closer to league minimum. Booker had a good game, his first real action (which many fans have questioned all year), and he made some great plays. not a pure runner at all though.
