...has got to be the least athletic player I've ever seen. He looks like he belongs at the tailgates, not the field.

Does he have a least one subpar punt each game?

Was wondering about that. It's one thing if he's shanking punts right and left, but he just hasn't been getting the leg he was in preseaon.

Would you rather have Stanley?

I was never as down on Stanley as many were. Stanley basically had one subpar season. Kris Brown had three in a row and got a pass. Brown is now the best kicker inthe AFC (screw Bironas). Stanley would have been fine.

I like Turk too. *shrug* .... how excited can I get about a punter?

Sub-par for Stanley is pretty horrible, since at the his best he was no better than average. Either way, you make a point...a punter is a punter. It's actually a pretty sad position, the only guy on the team who's job it is to intentionally turn the ball over to the other team.

The life of the punter has got to be great though. Kick a ball 40+ yards a few times a game and maybe hold a few kicks, collect a nice paycheck. Even if you really shank one, most people will forget about it by the next game. A kicker on the other hand....miss a big kick and you live in infamy. Isn't that right Scott Norwood?

Let's just get some Australian guy to be our punter. I know there's a few in the league now but the only one I can think of is the Cowboys punter. That guy is awesome...as awesome as you can get for a punter anyway

I stand corrected on the Welsh part........but there was no other "kicker" on the team, so I have to assume that he did both. :highfive:

Maybe they just went for it on all of their 4th downs.
