You BCS supporters, would you like to see a playoff NOW???

Pitt just upsets West Virginia. Oklahoma is up 14 in the 3rd.

If that holds, both 1 and 2 lose on the final weekend, and Ohio State, who hasn't played a game in 2 weeks, probably moves to #1, and I'm guessing Georgia, currently #4, who didn't even play in their conference championship game, most likely moves to #2?

Who gets VOTED in?? What a joke. Get a freaking playoff already and let them PLAY!!!!

it'd be Ohio State vs. LSU, more than likely.

i have no idea how VaTech playing in the Orange Bowl has anything to do with it.

The BCS is a joke. There is no fair way to set the so called National Championship game. There really needs to be a play-off.

I would put Va Tech ahead of LSU. LSU did not do anything to warrant jumping VA tech in my mind.

Yankee wet himself because now his Ohio State Buckeyes just got into the title game.

What about Hawaii they are undefeated.

This is exactly why I don't watch college football. It's more a Miss USA pageant than it is a sport. What I don't understand is why an Ohio State justs gets to sit back and is given the opportunity to play in the title game because their conference doesn't have a title game. While Mizzou, who would have been in the National Championship game if they didn't have to play a Big 12 title game, has to play a top ten team. Seems like the Conferences who have title games end up screwing themselves at the end much more than the confernces who just sit back and relax.

Another thing that as screwed up is how teams can lose at the begining of the year and fall back in the rankings but can slowly creep up when other teams in front of them are knocked out one by one. And a team that can go undefeated unil mid november can lose one game at the end of the season and is eliminated because they "lost at the end" and have no chance of a National Championship.

Except LSU absolutely dismantled Va. Tech earlier this season....

oh, and LSU has beaten much better opponents and hasn't looked awful on offense for half the season etc etc.

It probably has to go to LSU. They were the best team in the country for most of the season and went to the SEC championship game and won. VT got smashed by them earlier in the year, so they are out IMO. Kansas will be clamoring for their team to be there too, but its the same situation as Georgia where they didn't even win their conference.

Man...16 team playoff is looking very nice right now. You would have some really good games...and all the pretenders would be separated from the real contenders.
