View Full Version : MIND-BOTTLING stat: Texans ranked No. 2 in NFL...
...with 10+ passes over 40-yards.
Saw this stat while watching one of the games recently.
More evidence of what we already know (I don't have to mention his name, do I?). I think we all know the history on this particular stat.

Unfortunately, one man makes not a team:
........and we are 10th in 20+ yds..............but we're only 14th in total passing YPG............and in a 3 way tie at 13th with only 14 TD's to show for it.

That happens when your best "playmaker" is out for 7 games.

I'll repeat..........."Unfortunately, one man makes not a team."
True, but fortunately in this case, one man makes a team better.

As we move closer to game time my mind seems to get more bottled, usually about 12.:texflag:
I'm really not surprised, we seem to have at least one huge play a game...and then you add in that Tennesee game in which we had 3 or 4 huge plays. Our team has shown that it can make big plays when the weapons are there, it's just a matter of making the big plays count with ball control and solid defense.

If NFL ranked shooting ourselves in the foot...we'd be in the Top 5 for sure!
