Tennessee reached an agreement Thursday with wide receiver Mike Williams, reuniting him with one of his former coaches at USC, Norm Chow, and running back LenDale White.

Williams was scheduled to practice with the Titans on Thursday and could play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Titans signed him to the roster spot that was created when the NFL suspended running back Chris Henry for four games.

There was some talk that the Titans would shift Williams to tight end, but Tennessee believes that Williams ran well enough during his workout that he can make it and succeed at wide receiver.

I doubt this will make much difference. Their problem is that they have a bunch of guys who can't catch the ball. It may be more mental than physical. We'll see.

Maybe Chow can get Williams to pull his head out of his backside and start to actually play. If he does, that's a bad thing for us, but I doubt it happens.

...and the Titans sign yet another inconsistent WR with hands of stone. I believe Corey Bradford is available.

Thig guy failed for the Raider...THE RAIDERS.

We'll see if it helps them, but this is a desperation move on their part it seems.

LOL the Titans owe him one. He dropped the fourth down pass from Culpepepper ending the Raiders drive at the end of the Titans V. Raiders game this year.

Yawn. Another bad WR paired with an equally bad QB. What am I supposed the be worried about, again?

Yeah, if he would have caught that, Titans lose.

Maybe Chow can get him going, I hope not.....
