Home field or not I was a bit surprised to see us favored by -1.5 since the Aint's seem to have returned to the high powered passing game they had last year.

adam
11-18-2007, 01:13 PM
Bad call or not. Our team needs to toughen up, you can't drop the ball and lay on the ground every time that someone lays a decent hit on you. Owen Daniels should get an ear full.

3 and out, nice start for the D.

Johnson should have a big day against our secondary.

It's an easy defense to scheme against - throw to whomever David is covering.

I didnt see a fumble, to be honest. Will be surprised if it stands...

NitroGSXR

Nah. His knees were down. Now... is it indisputable enough for them to overturn? That remains to be seen. I think it'll be overturned.

Thorn
11-18-2007, 01:34 PM
it's going to be hard to overturn because the camera angles probably won't be very good. This one should go our way.

RazorOye

It wasn't a fumble it appears.

I am in Dallas, on a business trip.

Left my home in Amarillo at 6 a.m. and drove non-stop to get to the 10 Sports Grill in downtown Dallas to see this game.

I am the lone Texans fan in here. I am wearing my official Andre Johnson battle red jersey, and my Texans cap. Seated across from me is a table of about 7 Saints fans. They were crying on the Bush fumble. I was laughing.

God bless the TEXANS!!!!!!!!!

:texflag:

TexSon
11-18-2007, 01:42 PM
Let's see if Dick Smith dials up some pressure this drive. I mean he is aware that our secondary is very banged up, correct? And he is aware that pressuring the QB helps out a weak secondary, correct?

Mario looks better with the "stand up" routine.

He seems to be getting off the snap and generating momentum a lot easier, rather than getting tied up with the hand-fighting vs. the o line.

Seems like Brees is running the TTU spread offense out there...is there NOT a Saints WR open on almost every play?

alphajoker
11-18-2007, 01:48 PM
They need to keep Mario on the left side more often.

Thorn
11-18-2007, 01:48 PM

11-18-2007, 01:56 PM
We aren't sustaining long drives, which is going to kill our defense

alphajoker

The D is giving the Offense chances and they are not capitlizing...I hope it doesn't come back to haunt them.

NitroGSXR

TheIronDuke

These announcers can't stop bouncing on Bush's nuts. He's averaging less than a yard a carry, fumbled on the goal line and they're still spinning his "decoy" effect. Numbskulls.

Is it just me, or does Fox completely kick CBS' rears on camera work, and just the whole feel of the game?

Seems that with CBS...there's low field noise, crowd noise, etc. Almost like you're a 1,000 feet away from the game.

I dunno. This game looks great on Fox.

No, it's fine, the guys in the booth are obviously in love with Reggie Bush. They're still going on about his decoy skills.

If you look at the stats, Reggie has 2 fumbles this game compared to MW's only one forced fumble. Reggie also has a tackle on the Hutchins INT. Reggie is having one hell of a game.

So, I'm pulling out of my garage in my apt complex and turn into the driveway to the exit, and there sits a falcon (or some brown bird of prey) holding down one of the millions of stupid pigeons that live around here. I stopped my SUV just to stare. He was a large brown bird with a very long beak. He grabbed the pigeon and just effortlessly few away.

That was just so cool. I've never seen an actual bird of prey in this area of Westheimer.
