Thought it might be interesting to see how those rookies drafted in the 1st round are doing about half-way through the season. For the OL, I've listed team stats for rush yds per game and sacks allowed, since individual stats for OL aren't easy to come across.

19 Tennessee Michael Griffin 7 G, 11 TCKL, 1 FR


Griffin is also 3rd in KR yds among rookies with 398.

Ginn is 1st with 778. Peterson is 5th.

Without looking at special teams, I think the following is accurate:

Top Defensive Rookie: Amobi Okoye or Revis
Top Offensive Rookie: Adrian Peterson

Not entirely unexpected that AD is lighting it up. Besides, he is on my fantasy team.

Same with Aaron Ross. The guy has stepped up for the Giants D. TD 2 weeks ago.

We could have defensive rookie again with Okoye or with a trade down we could have had Revis and the DROY and another pick? Thanks for screwing up my day. J/K. I really wanted a CB last draft. sigh.

I dont think a Texan will win 2 years in a row.

That would give the impression that we know what we are doing during the draft.
