JJ fumbles opening KO but we recover it...

Wand was destroyed on that play.....

Vinny
11-14-2004, 12:07 PM
Freeny beat Wand with a ridiculously quick spin move.

Seth Wand can call Dwight Freeney his daddy.

nice catch by AJ out of the backfield but no yardage, bad start to this game...

There's Bradford giving us some more of that "dropping the ball that's right there". Hope he does the other half of that act today andcatches something amazing.

Fiddy
11-14-2004, 12:10 PM
If Foreman gets his head around quicker, he gets a INT...

I'd have to see it again (no flippin replay), but it looked behind Bradford and he had to slow way down just to get one hand on it.

MIGHTYTEX
11-14-2004, 12:14 PM
what is our D doing

ledzeppelin229
11-14-2004, 12:15 PM
We could really use another MLB that is blitz and coverage effective. Foreman can't do either.

Vinny
11-14-2004, 12:16 PM
McCree bit hard on the run and the pass went right over his head.

Fiddy
11-14-2004, 12:17 PM
The Texans were playing run that TD play....

ledzeppelin229
11-14-2004, 12:18 PM
Well..the key now is for our offense to get something rolling. The D can only hope to contain the Colts, and if our offense has trouble, we could look at another Denver game.

Hervoyel
11-14-2004, 12:23 PM
Well, the guys who played in Denver seem to be in Indy today. This is not the way to start the second drive of the game.

TexSon
11-14-2004, 12:23 PM
Did they come to play today, or is this a repeat of last week?

Vinny
11-14-2004, 12:23 PM
The Colts have just held opponents to four "3 and outs" in the entire season. Looks like the first two drives will give this stat a boost.

MIGHTYTEX

The playcalling critics will be out after this one too. Two false starts followed by a couple of nearly no game runs. Scary.

11-14-2004, 12:25 PM
Colts helped us with a late hit to the QB.

The Colts are just doing a "Year One" on Carr. Pin their ears back and try to kill him. It's not like Davis is any sort of threat so there's no reason to worry about a running game.

We had one last year. Not anymore. Davis "2,000 yard" statement gets more laughable every week. He must have said that after spending a weekend hanging out with Ricky Williams and Lenny Kravitz or something.

well, with no more challenges in the game it looks like there is no way to "steal" the momentum Indy has. 4-5 here we come.

Seriously, Dom I like. I've always liked him but I'm really getting tired of seeing the Texans make decisions (and I'm not talking playcalling here) that are just absolutely stupid. They're clearly stupid. Nobody looking at them could not see that they're stupid. this flies in the face of everything we've ever been told about Dom and everything he's ever said. Where's the stupid coming from?

Vinny
11-14-2004, 01:08 PM
Sometimes I think our defensive scheme is too complex. It looks like we tricked ourselves out of decent coverage. We got all cutesy-pie and the Colts ended up with TWO WR's wide open on the left side of the field when we did some half-blitz that was not a blitz, but wasn't coverage either.

Hervoyel
11-14-2004, 01:08 PM
14-0, If the Texans don't come back and get 7 this next drive (If they did score then Dom would probably decide to go for 2 and they'd end up with 6 instead) then this is going to quickly become a rout.

I know it's early, 11:55 left in 2nd quarter, but the Texans are looking bad. 2 fumbles by Carr, 2 lost challenges, 2 touchdowns given up. the offense is non existant against a bad colts defense. i'm just wondering what happened. seems like it's carrying over from last week, which i think was the Texans worst game all year. just look at the horrible play calling from Palmer and the coaches telling Capers to challenge and it makes you wonder. it's like they're giving up before the game is over. i mean if we win and the jags lose, we're in first, they need to start playing like it. we're playing like the dolphins right now.

I THOUGHT I was mad during the Detroit game, and I was sad to see the team come out so flat last week, but this is a top-to-bottom failure of coaching and playing.

Capers' staff is doing an AWFUL job today, and the whole team looks like they were just told there was a game about 3 hours ago.

PATHETIC.
