The only time I will root for the Saints is when they play the Colts, Jags or Tacks.

GO SAINTS! I wonder if Reggie will keep up his stellar performance of this season.

The Saints might be the worst covering team in the league.

Yea. This just proves that last year was an illusion for them. They are making VY look like Peyton Manning.

Credit to Vince, though.... he should have gotten that TD. Moulds dropped it.

And Vince loses the snap taking them out of FG range and costing them points.

I will be curious to see if Coach Peyton keeps trying to force Reggie into the running game instead of using him in special situations. Coachs never like to admit what their doing is not working.

what a dumb decision to go for it...gives the Titans a short field and a chance to go up two scores early on.

Nice throw by Young...AFC South is pretty good...nobody has lost outside of the division yet. Saints look like the old Saints....dumb coaching call by Peyton to give them a short field and go down by two scores this early.

I knew the saints had a weak pass defense but this is crazy! It would be one thing if their offense was still clicking and they could win a shoot out but 3 and outs with a weak defense has high draft choice written all over it. That said I hope their defense is even worse when it visits reliant!

Wow, you're right, JAX, TEN, and HOU will all be 2-1 after this game and we'll be in the cellar based on points allowed. Face it, Texans fans, we're screwed this season. We're already behind in the AFC South standings and only have a little more than 3/4 of a season to go.

I agree totally. The Saints have Brees and other players who have not been around the Saints culture of under achieveing. I think with all the pre season Superbowl predictions etc they need a long time Saint like Horn to keep them gounded. Opps instead he is helping keep the Falcons grounded.

No doubt!

Hey, I hadn't thought about this previously but if we stay in the race, we could end up on Sunday Night Football when their flex scheduling starts... that and being in the playoff race would virtually assure us of a MNF game next year.

No Vince's arm was hurting him so he went in briefly for an IV and then was back out later...

At the end of the first half, Vince's wrist was hurting so he went into the locker room early. He came back just fine in the second half. He's fine.

Madden Curse knocked at the door, nobody answered. heh.

why what? K. Collins was 4/4

Two jobs today and tired, so my though process is slow, help me out here.

Is 4/4 for 22 yards better than 14/22 for 164 with 2TD/1 Int.? The defense was awesome as well. It appears the Texans should have quite a winning streak ahead.

kastofsna

young was extremely efficient the entire game. as was the offense as a whole; receivers were wide open and making plays. the running games was efficient. the first time as a Vince Young-lead offense that they've been steady, efficient, and able to move the ball with relative ease. nothing spectacular, but they didn't need to do that.

i refuse to listen to anyone who thinks the offense was better with Collins tonight. 4 passes against an ultra-prevent defense when they're barely even trying out there. weren't all of the passes just essentially dump-offs anyway?

reggie bush scored a couple of easy TD's, and i'm sure they'll be pumped up for more than what they were. overall, pretty average performance for Bush, again.

Brees just looks lost at times. the o-line is a disaster. this team looks like a last place team.

Ignoracne is bliss I guess...

Quote by Keith Bulluck earlier this week...

“Oh, man, I’m Mr. Monday Night Football. You’d better check your history. All I do is make plays on Monday night. My rookie year … Monday night on Christmas Eve, I scored my first touchdown [against Dallas]. Like I said, I’m Mr. Monday Night. Expect to see something spectacular.”

If you say so. Given the choice at 60%, I'll take the 164 and two TDs.

Collins didn't even play enough for it to be relevant really.

Bush had a pretty pedestrian game overall...even worse I needed 17 fantasy points from him and he actually made it to 13 - just enough to break my heart.

The entire NO offense struggled. Not sure what happened between the end of last season and this year but they looked inept.

I'd gladly have Schaub and Williams over Young and 2 - 2nd Round players.

Of course at the time of the Schaub trade, I thought that 2 - 2nd Round players was possibly a bit too high, but you have to give something to get something in a trade.

I was unable to watch the game but from everything I've been able to read about it I surmise that the Saints looked terrible once again this year.

I really thought the crowd would be up for their home opener on MNF, and that the Saints would have their first breakout game of the year.

From all accounts that didn't happened, more like a breakdown performance.

It looks like Brees has become a turnover machine. The guuys thrown 7 picks in three weeks. If he keeps this up he'll send Dunta to the Pro Bowl all by himself.

I bet cornerbacks across the league are circling New Orleans on their calendar.
