Nice that we are fighting to the end, but the injuries.....killer. This game is going to haunt us much more than a 1 in the loss column.

I agree that injuries are killer but we are showing that we can move the ball in the system. I'm more worried about healthy guys like Faggins.

TD, one possession game.

Whoever said he is horrible isn't watching the right game or is fair weathered.

Just think if Schaub didn't throw that pick in the redzone.

We need a sack big time.

Faggins just looks lost out there.

I cant believe he is still manning up on Harrison.

Dammit.

That was the worst way to end it.

I hate l;osing but I liked seeing what Schaub did and that we still hung in there.

Wierd. Throw it out of bounds, take a penalty... get another play... Wierd.

Honestly though, we played a heck of a game, we're within one score of the Colts even though we thrown two INTs. We have injuries and make mistakes, and we're STILL in the game to the last play.

A very respectable effort. Considering no AJ and the injuries, it is still MUCH better than usual. Still very proud of our guys, and I look forward to next week.

A Schaub sack.

Okay. That ending sucked.

On the bright side, we hung around despite all of the injuries and still made a game of it. There's no quit in this Texans squad and that is uber-encouraging.

On the down side, we had SO MANY INJURIES! Arggh.

these injuries are just horrible. With no AJ or JJ, we don't have a passing game. This pretty much sucks.

It was a good game. Much like last week, you guys didn't give up after that last Schaub interception. I knew the defense was going to be good this year but today was my first look at the Offense and they looked pretty good. THe running game may hurt yall, though.

To me, after J.Jones gave us great field position, to see M. S. throw an interception was a killer for me.

I see the Texans get relevant, then I see key players get hurt one after the other. I am frustrated.:gun: :bat: :fans:

Whats the word on Jacoby? If Andre Johnson is out for an extended period and Jones has to sit yal will be hurting. I whink Daniels is going to have a monster year with Schaub's quick release.

I don't know about that.Davis picked up things up nicely when he had to.

Green's injury is what will hurt you.

Nice D & Schaub was very impressive but take away the opening return & it wasn't close.

The Colts are either the best or 2nd best team in the league right now so take heart. Clearly Kubiak knows what he's doing & you'll win many more games this year.

Well, what to say? Positives? Schaub isn't a quitter, we can still move the ball with our 2nd's and 3rd's in the game. Negatives? Injuries are #1 on my list, followed closely by the play of Faggins. I realize Bennett's a rookie, and would make his share of mistakes, but it wouldn't be the mistake of not being aggressive enough. Still believe this team can go 10 - 6 with our schedule, but injuries could play a key role in that record. Overall, I'm proud of our boys.

Anyone hear a report on Cedric Killings? They never said a thing on TV from what I could hear.

It's never encouraging to see a player get carted off the field on a stretcher on his way to the hospital and hear he has a neck injury but does have feeling in his extremities. Sounds career-ending to me.

Just finished watching my recording of it and here is what I saw:

Schaub played okay. The first pick was no ones fault really, Jacoby got hit and the ball popped up. Great play by the defense. The second pick was a bad decision and throw. No reason for that. He bounced back with a nice streak of completions and a great throw to Davis. His pocket presense was average. Dodged some sacks, but there is definite room for improvement. And how did he drop that ball? Lucky recovery by the Oline.

The runningbacks played as well as they good considering we were on third string. Cant really complain. Hope Green gets better.

The recievers played outstanding. Without AJ everyone stepped it up, especially Davis. Jones looked good until the injury.

Owen Daniels and the tight ends played well. Not really great blocking, but they made some good plays. Daniels in particular made some great catches.

The oline was slightly above average at best. Made some holes for the running game and had decent protection. It had to be hard against Mathis and Freeney.

The DL played well. Manning does a great job at not being sacked. The DL had tons of pressure. They could use improvement in defending the run.

The LB core was unspectacular. Not bad, not good. Demeco Ryans was everywhere.

The DB's were unimpressive. Bad, actually. Faggins should never, ever start. He gives up too much of a cushion. Good QB's like Manning will tear him apart. DRob played well. The safeties did well against the run, did not miss any tackles. They need help against the pass. Boulware was owned by Clark on that first TD.

Special Teams did well. Brown missed nothing. Good punts by Turk. And a nice TD by Mathis. Jones had a nice return near the end, but was injured.

Well, on the bright side, we actually came somewhat close to beating Indy without a lot of starters. Judging by what I saw, we can take Atlanta with who ending up playing at the end of the game today. That would make us 3-1 going into a home game with Miami. We could very well be 4-1 after that. :texflag:

Anyone know how many sacks we gave up today? NFL gamecenter shows 2 sacks for Indy, but I only remember seeing one.
