AJ with just a knee sprain, no swelling. He WILL be back. When? Don't know. He's doubtful for next week.

If no AJ next week, look for Davis.

Did anyone elses hears sink when Kubes said he would let Kevin talk about Andre's injury more?

I am glad he is not more seriously injured.

I actually said the exact same thing. And I think all Texans fans are happy about that. Sucks he could be out up to 4 weeks though.

While he rehabs he can mentor the other WR. I believe that our other WRs will step up. Our moral is to high to give up.
"Suck it up and drive on" as my former platoon SGT used to tell us.

Great news ! We got the best case scenario IMO, because lot of guys go down for the season with this kind of deal - anytime a knee is involved its scary.

probably sat on the main feed cable.

The cable said "Feed" on it so he ripped it open, assuming it had some honey oats inside.

I agree with you on that. I think 4 weeks is a WAYYYYY conservative estimate (so conservative it makes Ann Coulter seem like Michael Moore).

Or he got hungry and began chewing on the nearest object. Which turned out to be a camera tri-pod leg.:wild:

I know everybody was keyed on AJ's status, but I'm still kinda shocked by Kubiak's comments about CC.

Was Sunday really CC's best game in the last two years? And if so, are we sure we know how the coaching staff evaluates the secondary?

Well, as far as Andre, it's much better than I feared, and not as good as I hoped.

Gonna be tougher than going barefoot up a 50 ft slide greased with vaseline to beat the Colts without Andre, but I hope we are up for the challenge. :whip:

This will let the other receivers get some playing time and develop WR depth for our playoff run!:texflag:

I would error on the side of caution.

Next week, you have Indy at home. Then the next games are against the Falcons and the Dolphins.

I wouldn't take any serious chances here.

Let AJ recover properly (if he really needs it) and you still have a great shot of going 4-1 with your best receiver recovering from an injury.

Pushing this type of thing could cause a lot more problems in the long run.

Right now, this seems like a manageable situation.

We may be facing the Colts without Johnson, but we beat them last year with Carr.

It's very difficult to evualate safety play over the TV. Unless you happen to have endzone footage that I haven't seen, I would tend to favor the coach over hothboy. I know that is a risky assumption, but I am willing to put myself on the line with that call. :gun:

I am glad AJ is not seriously hurt, but man, now I have to scramble for about 8 WR's to fill in on my fantasy teams.

Good, that makes 2 of us!

Maybe some people will start to lay-off the "OMG! We so suck at safety, and it'll keep us from winning the SuperBowl" talk.
