The real surprise so far is the Texans. They went to Carolina and dominated a good Panthers team, which is a sign the Texans are on the move.

Maybe it was David Carr after all.

Carr was the Texans' franchise passer, drafted in 2002, but he was let go this year and Houston traded for Matt Schaub. In two games, Schaub has completed 30 of 56 passes for 456 yards and three touchdowns.

I just think this is going to be going on for awhile...the national media finally going..."hey, maybe the line wasn't the one problem." Its like watching people wake up to football.

Humorously enough, Schaub ACTUALLY went 36 for 50, not 30 of 56 (according to ESPN.com)

thats a difference between 53% and 72%. Schaub is even better than added!

Great! It just shows you how much research and they have done over the years.

Why some people are finally realizing this? I will never know. It was painfully obvious to anyone who watched the Texans play the last 5 years. Even the 7-9 year was a bad year because if Carr had been able to do anything we could have been 10-6 or better. We left a lot of points on the field that year and we couldnt finish anyone when we had them on the ropes...we would let them get back in the game because they couldnt count on Carr to do anything other than the Fresno Tuck or the tuck-n-roll.

I love my team but it was tough viewing sometimes....now its a breath of fresh air for both the fans AND the team. The team is responding in kind and the fans are already ready for Luv Ya Blue - Part Deux.

I think that if we beat the Colts this week, this town is gonna bust out. If you need Texans memorabilia (jerseys, hats, t shirts), you better get to Academy this week or you might be too late.

That national media never watched us. They pretty much saw Dave get beat down in Year 1, stopepd watching and made O-line jokes every year because they are too lazy to analyze.

It`s time to put Carr in the rear view mirror once and for all. Our point has been well made. Time to take an example from the team and focus on the next play and next game, "Roll Texans Roll"

And these stats accurately reflect his play. He's been as good or better than his numbers indicate
