This is a little more meaningfull thatn the Cowgirls. We went on the road, fell behind big, and then came back to win convincingly. The "horrible" oline beatdown one of the best front 4's in the game. The defense got physical and beat up the offensive unti. Guys flew around and made great things happen. I think this is the biggest win in franchise history. :texans:

This is our biggest victory to date IMO. Why ?
We beat a good team, one that's been regarded as a team in the mix to compete as the representative of the NFC in the SB. And we beat them in their house, on their season-opener at home, and after we were down 2 TDs. That is so huge and it is totally unprecedented !
Cowboy-haters obsessed with impressing our N.Texas neighbors may point to that game as the biggest-win, and maybe it is to many in raw emotional terms. But I dunno how anyone can really say its as significant in the evolution of this team, this franchise. Others may point to other games. Not me.
A great American actor won an Oscar once for his role in a memorable movie and lamented in his role that he coulda been somebody but never was. He said he "coulda been a contender".
Well no more regrets Texans fans, because we finally are somebody, we are now a contender !

biggest win other than finally beating the Colts last year. i did enjoy the win more than any other win we have had though, including 19-10.

I would say it is our most impressive win, but the biggest win was last year against the colts. I think that one helped a lot in the confidence that we have now.

We finally agree!! :D :texflag:

As much as beating Indy last year (which was huge in terms of self-respect), and, of course, the Cowboys for our first game, means to this franchise...

Yesterday was definitely the biggest win in terms of arriving and learning what the soul of this team is all about. They do not quit and they believe in themselves, both firsts for a Houston Texans team.

I think this one beats the Indy win.

That Indy win sparked something in our team. Hope I think. Bring in Matt Schaub, win a decisive game against a top NFC opponent on the road after being down by 14? That seals it

Tough call. I agree, though, that the Colts win was HUGE for the team's turnaround. But that win will, from a national perspective, always be full of "yeahbuts." Like: "Yeah, but the Colts were on autopilot...they were going to the Super Bowl. They didn't care...it was a trap game..." and on and on.

This one has no yeahbuts. This was a road win--a buttkicking, actually--against a good team in their home opener and essentially everyone on the opposite side fully healthy. And it was a complete one, with O, D, and ST all handing in terrific performances. I give the edge to this one, although both are unquestionably important.

As far as I'm concerned, each new win we have will be the new biggest win ever as we go on a roll to the best season the Texans have ever had. That is what is going to be important. The Best Season Ever:fans:

Why does there have to be a "best" or "biggest"?

Without a doubt...this game actually "meant" something to the franchise in the sense that we are actually competing for our division. While last years win against Indy (and 19-10) were sweet, this one put us on the map as a contending franchise. It was huge!

And the score ddnt reflect the butt whooping the game really was. Smith makes a hell of a play on Faggins. ANd a garbage TD. Not to mention a bogus int grounding call. This was a freakin awsome day to be a Texan
