I know a lot of people around the league are happy for him.

Good to see him take one step, and then again. Come on, it's time to go!

That should be his dance move after a sack--the Mario; not the "sush" thing (although I like that too)

Let's not be to harsh on Apple! He ain't a bad guy, he just loves RBs. (Well, he thought Reggie was a RB.)

But this year he wanted us to draft Adrian Peterson, or trade down for Marshall Lynch. Those ain't bad choices. :cowboy1:

have him driving around in his Lambo hurling eggs at the homes of Carr, Andy, and Roger. HEB eggs of course because they are on sale. you could even have that skank he was riding with in the infamous YouTube video talking about how she saves so much money shopping at HEB, so much money that she was about to get a new 'Carr'. Then Schaub drives by, waves at them, and begins doing a far superior job of lobbing eggs and hitting bullseyes maybe even breaking a window or two. Then it pans to Mario's face rolling his eyes and saying 'Quarterbacks......'.

oh congrats to Mario on this award. its obvious that a lot of the league is pulling for the guy espeically the guys that value the work in the trenches. I am sure alot of NFL players cant stand Bush and all the hype. The players probably dont mind VY much because he is a baller but I am sure Bush is too much of a pansy to get much respect at this point in his career.

What a change from the pre-season. Congrats to Mario. Now, let's see the kind of effort and impact that I saw in the 2nd half all season long so he can prove he was indeed worth the #1 overall. :d:

The commercial needs to be one of the dropped calls ads where Kubiak calls VY and then RB and the calls get dropped, so he thinks they can't sign the contract. Then he switches companies, calls Mario and the call goes through.:whip:

Coach Kubes calls Mario and VY, conference call. VY has another network.

Gray: Ok guys, which one of you REALLY wants to be a Texan. Whoever wants it the most is going to be the #1 draft pick.

Mario: [excited yelling]

VY: [muted, yelling]

Coach: All right Mario, its you, I guess Vince isn't interested.

(or same commercial, just VY and Kubiak)

It went a little something like you saying "Mario doesn't look like a #1 draft pick." And then I said, "you should wait to judge til after the season starts" and then you said, "no I'll pass, but thanks for the offer."

PS- I hate digging

Robert Geathers of the Cincinnati Bengals has won the GMC award.

Bengals defensive end Robert Geathers Thursday was named the GMC Defensive Player of the Week for the NFL's opening weekend.

Geathers had four tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and an interception in the Bengals' 27-20 win over the Ravens. Geathers contributed to three different turnovers that led to the three Bengals' touchdowns with his first-quarter fumble recovery, his third-quarter sack and his fourth-quarter interception...

If Mario kept up the sack and tackles numbers for the whole season he'd have 32 sacks and 80 tackles! Now I know there is no way to get 32 sacks (which would be an NFL record) in a season, but it sure would be nice to see him end up with 70 to 80 tackles and around 10 to 20 sacks. That sure would shut a lot of the Mario haters/doubters up.:highfive: The main thing is, he's got to show consistancy over the whole season and career. If he does that the awards will come and the wins will too! JMHO

Bush has not been impressive last year or this year so far. I don't think he'll ever live up to his hype. I was never sorry we passed up on him. Vince maybe, but not Bush. Besides, we have Schaub now so it's beginning to look like Mario might have been the right choice after all.
