RB Steven Jackson:

(On if this game was a defensive step in the right direction)
“If it was a step in the right direction, we would have won the game. We had them in the first half and played pretty good defense. In the second half, we just fell apart. What we need to learn is that we need to come out and play the second half, just like we played the first half. Today, we didn’t do that and obviously, we lost the game. We gave up 20 or more points. It really doesn’t matter, since if we played really good defense, we would have won the game.”

Considering he only got me 1 fantasy point, I am not too pleased with him.

And this is coming from a guy who coughs up the football TWICE in the same game?

Practice this week at the Rams camp should be interesting.

Jackson should also reflect on his inability to do anything against the Panthers last season in the shut out. The D isn't the only problem in St Louis.

To clear things up......

Jackson did not say that. That was actually Leonard Little. In the link you provided, the OP misread a post on the Ram's board and thought that it was SJ who said it instead of LL. They recognized their mistake in that thread, though..

Here is a link to the thread on the Ram's board with the post the Panther fan was referring to. http://www.clanram.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25964

The Ram's fan who posted the quotes didn't provide a link though, so I don't know where he got them...

My ffl front office decided to pass on him in the draft because of character issues....

I am glad we don't have guys like this on our team.

What? There's ten other guys on the field. At least one of them should've been able to jump on the ball.
