This is Peter King's list so it's just one man's opinion, not the entire magazine. I'm not sure why anybody is crazy enough to rank the 500 best players in the league

Here are the Texans on the list:

#33 Andre Johnson
#77 DeMeco Ryans
#150 Dunta Robinson
#161 Matt Schaub
#220 Mario Williams
#293 Amobi Okoye
#304 Chester Pitts
#317 Ahman Green
#473 Eric Winston

.....and just for the hell of it, David Carr is #350 :D

Kind of odd he's got AG rated so low. Especially behind MW. :specnatz:

That's BS... Owen Daniels is probably a better quarterback than David Carr.

Winston making the list is kind of surprising to me.

He did play it in High School.

Correction

33. Andre Johnson WR, Texans Best deep threat no one knows

But he is the second WR behind Steve Smith
Only Gates TE is higher.

OD should be their and Greenwood might be in their if they have Winston. He's good but I'd put Greenwood higher.

I must have missed something but how is Manning above LT?

I must have missed something but how is Manning above LT?

Because generally people will consider having the best QB in the league more important than having the best RB in the league.

One other Texan on his list was:

293. Amobi Okoye DT, Texan s : Can't buy mates beers for nine more months

And, AJ was the 3rd receiver listed, after both Steve Smith and Torry Holt.

You don't remember? According to ESPN, he (along with Adrian Peterson and Calvin Johnson) are locks to make the Hall of Fame.

wow on a person that we not dare speak of.. is 41.. I am not saying he won't be a good player in the NFL... but seems premature... esp over someone say of chad Johnson and others.

May succeed Vick in role of NFL's Jordan

Vick was Jordan? wow, I again am not saying Vick was bad, but if anyone instills imagination of the NFL .. LT would be close.. does it all running and receiving at that position and does it really well

yes vick can run and throw, but ...maybe I am biased and my eyes aren't in tune with the game so someone can steer me in the right direction
